    Abstract: A wearing article such as a disposable diaper is provided in predetermined regions of the article with hook members. These predetermined regions are elastically stretchable at least in one direction.     Abstract: Disclosed is an absorbent article including: a liquid permeable surface structural body; a backing sheet; an absorbent core disposed between the surface structural body and the backing sheet. The surface structural body is formed by stacking bundles of continuous filaments into at least two layers and partially fixing the continuous filaments of the respective layers together. The individual continuous filaments extend over the entire length of the respective layers. The layers include: a lower layer positioned adjacent to the absorbent layer; and an upper layer positioned away from the absorbent layer and having a smaller width than that of the lower layer. The upper layer is located exclusively at a center portion or laterally opposite side portions of the lower layer.

    Abstract: A disposable sanitary garment includes a chassis defining an outer surface thereof, the chassis is provided along its transversely opposite side edge portions destined to extend around a wearer's thighs with a pair of first leg-hole elastic members extending circumferentially around the thighs and with a pair of second leg-hole elastic members describing a circular arc being convex inwardly of the garment.     Abstract: A web intended to be used as a topsheet or a backsheet defining front and rear sections and a crotch section extending therebetween in a disposable garment is continuously fed in its longitudinal direction, and a width of the web is divided in two halves along a longitudinally extending cutting line describing a curve approximate to a sine curve in and thus two webs are obtained. These two webs are transversely spaced from each other by a predetermined dimension and one of these two webs is longitudinally shifted relatively to the other by 1/2 period. Thereafter, these two webs are joined together in their overlapping regions. The two webs thus joined together is cut for every period with each pair of such overlapping regions lying in a middle of this period. The invention can thereby provide the topsheet or the backsheet without any waste pieces cut therefrom.
