Abstract:
A method and system for performing quick reply operations are disclosed. The method for quick reply operations includes displaying a text box; determining a display area of the text box; and receiving a user instruction. The method further includes determining whether the user instruction is a pull-down gesture in the display area of the text box; determining whether the pull-down gesture exceeds a threshold length; and displaying a quick reply text box. The method and system consistent with the present disclosure implement quick reply functions and improve the user experience for replying to various messages and postings.
Abstract:
Systems and methods for exchanging data between two client devices are disclosed. A method includes, at a computer system, obtaining, from a first client device, a first data acquisition request, wherein the first data acquisition request includes (i) a device identifier identifying a second client device distinct from the first client device, and (ii) a search parameter identifier; and identifying the second client device, from a plurality of client devices, in accordance with the device identifier. In some implementations, a method further includes, issuing a second data acquisition request to the second device, the second data acquisition request including the search parameter identifier; obtaining, from the second client device, a search parameter associated with the search parameter identifier; obtaining one or more search results associated with the search parameter; and providing at least one search result in the one or more search result to the first client device for display to a user of the first client device.
Abstract:
A server system receives a group operation request transmitted by a client. The group operation request is generated by the client in response to a trigger operation of a target group chat function, and includes a target identity and a target group chat function identifier. The server system determines a target group chat function use permission corresponding to the target identity. In accordance with a determination, based on the target group chat function use permission and the target group chat function identifier, that a user corresponding to the target identity has a permission to use the target group chat function, the server system transmits group operation result information to the client.
Abstract:
Methods and devices for email management are provided. According to email information of emails in an email box, whether an email box contains advertisement emails is determined. The email information at least contains sender addresses of the emails. When the email box contains the advertisement emails, classification data of the advertisement emails are obtained by obtaining the email information of the advertisement emails and classifying the advertisement emails, according to the sender addresses thereof, to form advertisement-email sets with each set containing at least one advertisement email. The at least one advertisement email in a same advertisement-email set has a same sender address. The advertisement emails are displayed according to the classification data thereof. Accordingly, the email managing device includes a determining module, an obtaining module, and a displaying module.
Abstract:
The present invention discloses a mail sending method and an email system and relates to the field of internet communications. The method includes: receiving a mail sending request which carries a mail template filled out by a sender; encapsulating the mail template into an anonymous mail that includes no receiver mailbox ID and no sender mailbox ID; and obtaining a receiver mailbox ID and delivering the encapsulated anonymous mail to a mailbox corresponding to the obtained receiver mailbox ID. The email system includes: a receiving module, an encapsulating module, and a delivering module. The present invention enables a sender to send an anonymous mail to a stranger whose mailbox address is unknown to the sender and provides a service for users to talk about privacy issues.
Abstract:
The present application provides a method and a system for acquiring and distributing location-related information. The method includes: receiving a positioning request initiated by a first application running on a client device, wherein the positioning request includes a network address identifying the client device and a user identifier shared by the first application and a second application running on a mobile terminal; generating a positioning instruction according to the user identifier; pushing the positioning instruction to the second application running on the mobile terminal; receiving, from the mobile terminal, location information obtained when the second application running on the mobile terminal performs positioning according to the positioning instruction; identifying a plurality of search results associated with the location information; and sending the location information and the plurality of search results associated with the location information to the first application running on the client device.
Abstract:
The present invention provides a method and a system for acquiring location information. The method includes: generating a positioning instruction according to a wireless positioning request initiated by a first client, and pushing the positioning instruction to a wireless communication client; receiving location information obtained when the wireless communication client performs positioning according to the positioning instruction; and sending the location information to the first client. The system includes: a request processing module, configured to generate a positioning instruction according to a wireless positioning request initiated by a first client, and push the positioning instruction to a wireless communication client; a receiving module, configured to receive location information obtained when the wireless communication client performs positioning according to the positioning instruction; and an information sending module, configured to send the location information to the first client. The accuracy can be improved by adopting the present invention.
Abstract:
An interaction method and application platform for a social network site (SNS) are disclosed. The method includes: receiving a connection instruction of a user, and connecting to the user according to the connection instruction; receiving user information uploaded by the user or acquiring user information locally, and updating the user information to a preset information sharing space; and sharing information and performing anonymous SNS interaction between the current user and at least one other user based on the information sharing space. The present disclosure not only enhances an interaction manner between users, and expands a channel for the users to learn about each other, but also improves a success rate of user matching, and develops user relation chains, thereby generating abundant album resources and users with high quality content from whom high-quality users are extracted to form principally recommended users.
Abstract:
A group user migration method includes: creating a target graphic code and a corresponding first group in a first application in response to a group user migration request, the group user migration request being used for requesting to migrate a user in any group in a second application to a group in the first application; sharing the target graphic code to a target group in the second application in response to a sharing request for the target graphic code; determining a group to which the user belongs in the second application in response to a request of any user in the second application for joining the first group; and joining the user to the first group of the first application in response to determining that the user belongs to the target group.
Abstract:
This application discloses a voice chat mode adaptation method and apparatus.
