A method for cultivating soybean or corn, including: sowing a field with seeds of soybean or corn wherein a resistance to an inhibitor of 5-enolpyruvylshikimate-3-phosphate synthase or an inhibitor of glutamine synthase has been imparted to the seeds of soybean or corn and the seeds have been treated with imidacloprid and at least one metalaxyl compound selected from the group consisting of metalaxyl and metalaxyl-M, and treating the field with at least one organophosphorus compound selected from the group consisting of glyphosate, glufosinate, glufosinate-P, an agriculturally acceptable salt of glyphosate, an agriculturally acceptable salt of glufosinate, and an agriculturally acceptable salt of glufosinate-P.
Abstract:
Provided is a method for reducing damage by harmful organisms in corn cultivation.Damage by harmful organisms in corn cultivation can be reduced by carrying out the steps of A) ditching a cultivated land; B) seeding with corn a furrow formed in the foregoing step; C) applying to the furrow an aqueous dispersion or aqueous solution of one or more selected from the below-mentioned compound group (I); and D) closing the furrow. (compound group (I): group consisting of clothianidin, thiamethoxam, imidacloprid and thiacloprid)

Abstract:
A method for controlling noxious organisms in a field of soybean or corn, comprising the steps of:treating soybean or corn seeds with at least one neonicotinoid compound selected from the group consisting of clothianidin, thiamethoxam, imidacloprid, dinotefuran, nitenpyram, acetamiprid, and thiacloprid, andtreating the field with at least one PPO inhibitor compound selected from the group consisting of flumioxazin, sulfentrazone, saflufenacil, oxyfluorfen, and 3-(4-chloro-6-fluoro-2-trifluoromethylbenzimidazol-7-yl)-1-methyl-6-trifluoromethyl-2,4-(1H,3H)pyrimidinedione before or after the soybean or corn seeds treated with the neonicotinoid compound are sown in the field.
Abstract:
The compound (I) or a salt thereof has an excellent controlling activity against pests. Then the compound (I) or a salt thereof is useful for an active ingredient of a pesticidal composition.

Abstract:
Provided is a method for controlling arthropod pests. The method includes: step A): a step of forming furrows in the soil; step B): a step of placing, in the furrows formed in the previous step, seeds retaining one or more neonicotinoid compounds selected from Group I, on the surface or in the interior, and a step of applying an aqueous dispersion or an aqueous solution containing one or more neonicotinoid compounds selected from Group I to the furrows formed in the previous step; and step C): a step of covering the furrows. In step B above Group I is a group selected from clothianidin, thiamethoxam, imidacloprid, and thiacloprid.
