摘要: A communication device determines a communication quality with a base station, requests a neighboring base station for a transition judgment information to transmit information to become a judgment criterion of the communication quality to be included in a Beacon signal at a stage before the communication quality degrades to an extent that the base station is immediately switched, and selects a base station with which a communication connection should be established on the basis of the transition judgment information included in the Beacon signal transmitted in response to the transition judgment request. The communication device is applicable to a communication system in the wireless LAN.

摘要: The present disclosure relates to a wireless base station and a terminal device that can shorten time required for sounding information collection by a plurality of wireless base stations and suppress deterioration of following accuracy. When a wireless base station as a master performs channel measurement with a terminal device, it is possible to transmit channel measurement frames in wireless base stations including the wireless base station at the same timing or at different timings only by instructing another wireless base station to perform a channel measurement, and also transmitting a Sounding Trigger frame including a transmission timing and a transmission stream of a channel measurement frame once. The present disclosure can be applied to communication systems in wireless LAN.

摘要: To provide a communication apparatus that realizes data sharing and coordinate transmit of shared data. A communication apparatus that operates as an access point includes: a communicating unit configured to transmit and receive wireless signals; and a control unit configured to control communication operations in the communicating unit, the communication operations including a communication operation for sharing data to be simultaneously transmitted to a single communication terminal between adjacent access points and a communication operation for recognizing that sharing of the data has been completed. The control unit is configured to perform control when transmitting the shared data simultaneously with the adjacent access points so as to multiplex the shared data with a transmission stream addressed to another communication apparatus and transmit the shared data as a multi-user multiplexed stream.

摘要: A wireless communication device includes: a transmission unit that transmits a request frame indicating a request for traffic information; a receiving unit that receives a response frame in which the traffic information is stored; and a control unit that controls transmission of a frame related to permission of transmission directed to a first wireless communication device that is identified on the basis of the traffic information stored in the received response frame and that is permitted to perform multiple access. A wireless communication device includes: a receiving unit that receives a request frame indicating a request for traffic information; a transmission unit that transmits a response frame in which the traffic information is stored in response to the received request frame; and a control unit that controls transmission of a frame related to the traffic information on the basis of a communication parameter related to multiple access.

摘要: A communication apparatus and a communication method are provided by which an upper network including a plurality of network groups is formed. A base station transmits a first frame requesting communication for estimating a structure of an upper network to another base station and returns a reply of a second frame to a first frame from the other base station. Then, the base station estimates a structure of the upper network and decides a structure attribute of the base station itself in the upper network on the basis of information acquired through the communications. Then, the base station notifies the other base station or a subordinate terminal of a result of the decision of the structure attribute.
