摘要: Provided is a structure for individual authentication in which a pillar pattern region including a plurality of nanopillars formed of synthetic quartz glass is formed on at least a part of a surface portion of a synthetic quartz glass substrate. In the pillar pattern region, the nanopillars have an indentation elastic modulus of 35 to 100 GPa as measured by a nanoindentation method, and the nanopillars are plastically deformed.

摘要: The window material for an optical element of the present invention is formed of synthetic quartz glass that is likely to be subjected to shape processing, can be manufactured at low cost, and has a flat plate shape. Even if the window material for an optical element has a flat plate shape, for example, in a window material of a UV-LED such as a UVC-LED sealed with a surface mount package (SMD PKG), light emitted from the optical element, in particular, light having a light distribution angle can be efficiently collected when passing through the window material, and light collection equal to that of a window material having a lens shape such as a conventional convex shape can be achieved. Furthermore, light distribution without irradiation unevenness such as Lambertian reflection can also be achieved.

摘要: A synthetic quartz glass substrate is machined by bringing a surface of the synthetic quartz glass substrate as the workpiece into contact with and superposing it on a surface of a protective member made of synthetic quartz glass to effect optical contact bonding of the workpiece and the protective member, and passing a cutting tool through the optical contact bonding surfaces. This machining process is able to effectively prevent the generation of microdefects at the cutting tool entry site and extraction site during a cutting operation. Moreover, a fixing agent is not used to join the workpiece and the protective member, and so productivity is high because there is no need for the application and later removal of a fixing agent.

摘要: An adhesive composition, including: a reaction product (A) among a bifunctional epoxy resin represented by the formula (2), a tri- or more functional epoxy resin represented by the formula (3), and a saturated acid anhydride represented by the following general formula (4); a UV-sensitive reaction initiator (B); and a dilution solvent (C), wherein the component (A) is a compound represented by the formula (1), a ratio of a total mole of epoxy groups in the multi-functional epoxy resin to a mole of the saturated acid anhydride is 1.30 to 3.00, and a mole of the bifunctional epoxy resin relative to a total mole of the multi-functional epoxy resin is 0.001 to 0.15. This provides a highly reliable epoxy-resin-based adhesive composition and film-shaped sealing material having a low viscosity, curability at low temperature, and high adhesiveness, and retaining power generation performance of a perovskite solar cell before and after sealing.

A synthetic quartz glass substrate for use in a microfluidic device, wherein a maximum value of a cyclic average power spectral density at a spatial frequency of 0.4 mm−1 or more and 100 mm−1 or less is 5.0×1015 nm4 or less, the maximum value being obtained by measuring any given region of 6.0 mm×6.0 mm on a surface of the synthetic quartz glass substrate with a white interferometer.
