Abstract:
In an embodiment of the invention, it is detected whether an auxiliary power source device is mounted in an apparatus main body or not. When the auxiliary power source device is mounted in the image forming apparatus, after a specified time has passed in a printable state, power supply to a first heat roller to heat a heat roller is shifted to a sleep mode. When the auxiliary power source device is not mounted in the image forming apparatus, after a specified time has passed in the printable state, a shift is made to a preheat mode in which the heat roller is kept at a preheat temperature, and a specified time has further passed, a shift is made to a sleep mode.
Abstract:
A conveying apparatus and a conveyed object inspection apparatus which can perform accurate, damage free image inspection. One conveying roller has a conveying surface formed in a spiral manner on an outer periphery surface thereof. The conveying surface is slanted with respect to the central axis narrowing toward other end side so as to convey a conveyed object while holding it between the conveying surface and other conveying roller. The other conveying roller has a tilt surface provided in a spiral manner on an outer periphery surface thereof. The tilt surface is slanted with respect to the central axis narrowing toward one end side. A feeding means can feed the conveyed object inbetween the conveying rollers. An inspection section has an image acquisition means capable of acquiring an image of an entire outer surface of the conveyed object, and an abnormality detecting means capable of detecting abnormality of the conveyed object based on the image A removing means can then remove an abnormal object.

An image forming apparatus according to the invention includes an auxiliary power supply configured to detachably mountable on the image forming apparatus, a fixing device including a main heater heated by a commercial power supply and an auxiliary heater heated by the auxiliary power supply, a detector that detects mounting and detachment of the auxiliary power supply, and a control unit that performs control to carry out, when the mounting of the auxiliary power supply is detected by the detector, continuous printing of sheets at printing speed higher than printing speed at the time when the auxiliary power supply is not mounted. According to the image forming apparatus according to the invention, the image forming apparatus is capable of operating without deteriorating power use efficiency during continuous printing at normal speed and, on the other hand, can secure stable fixing performance even when the speed of the continuous printing is increased.
Abstract:
Change in a torque waveform is monitored while removing continuously-varied periodic noise in real time, and the change in the torque waveform caused purely by the wafer state is detected by separating noise components while removing the noise not caused by the wafer state such as drift noise cased by dressing conditions and the polishing pad state, thereby reliably detecting a polishing end point at high precision in the wafer state when polishing is finished. A polishing end point detection device utilizing torque change having a torque measurement means for measuring torque, a periodic component analysis means for analyzing periodic components in data by subjecting Fourier transformation to the measured data, an average processing time calculation means for calculating moving average processing time for removing periodic noise components based on the analyzed periodic components, an average processing means for correcting the waveform by performing averaging process based on the moving average processing time calculated in real time for the data, and an end point detection means for detecting the polishing end point of a predetermined film based on change in the corrected torque waveform is provided.
Abstract:
An image forming apparatus of the present invention uses sensors to detect a marker of a transfer belt, and assigns the transfer belt to detect a medium feeding position and exposure start position, whereby time or waiting time required to transfer a color toner image to an output medium at a transfer position can be reduced, and time required to obtain an output image can be reduced, while ensuring a fixing rate and color reproducibility.
Abstract:
In digital broadcasting, a stream signal includes a data stream in data broadcasting, and a video data stream and an audio data stream in main broadcasting, which streams are combined. A recording/reproducing apparatus includes a storage unit; a read/write section configured to access the storage unit; a separating section configured to separate the data stream from the stream signal in a real time mode and a record mode, and to output a combined data stream of the video data stream and the audio data stream to the read/write section in the record mode; and a processing section configured to receive the data stream from the separating section in the real time mode and the record mode and to output a data corresponding to the data stream to the read/write section in the record mode. The read/write section records the combined data stream in the storage unit and the data in the storage unit independently from the combined data stream.
