Abstract:
A message-based conversation operation method and a mobile terminal supporting the same are disclosed. The method includes detecting user input for one or more messages, assigning contextual information to the messages according to the user input and storing the contextual information, and outputting a new display mode for the messages according to the contextual information.
Abstract:
An electronic device comprising: a touch screen display; and at least one processor operatively coupled to the touch screen display, configured to: detect an input on the touch screen display; identify an input range based on a location of the input; detect a first path associated with additional input that is performed at least partially in the input range and display an indication of the first path on the touch screen display; compare the first path to a second path; and perform a function in response to detecting that the first path matches the second path.
Abstract:
An electronic device includes a memory, at least one camera module, and a processor operatively connected to the memory and the at least one camera module. The processor is configured to, while acquiring first recording data by using the at least one camera module, detect at least one designated gesture input on the basis of at least a part of the acquired first recording data. The processor executes a function corresponding to the detected gesture input. The processor creates and stores a second recording data in the memory. The second recording data includes data remaining after excluding, from the acquired first recording data, recording data corresponding to a time interval from the detection initiation time point of the detected gesture input to detection termination time point of same.
Abstract:
An electronic device and method are disclosed. The electronic device includes a foldable display that is at least partially foldable, at least one processor, and at least one memory. The processor implements the method, including detecting, by at least one processor, that a foldable display of the electronic device changes from an unfolded state to a partially folded state, configuring a first region of the foldable display to accept touch inputs in the partially folded state, and configuring a second region of the foldable display to accept non-touch inputs in the partially folded state.
Abstract:
An electronic device is provided. The electronic device includes a first housing, a second housing foldable with respect to the first housing around a first folding axis, a third housing foldable with respect to the second housing around a second folding axis, a first sensor configured to detect a first folding state with respect to the first housing and the second housing, a second sensor configured to detect a second folding state with respect to the second housing and the third housing, at least one input device configured to acquire authentication information for performing user authentication according to a plurality of user authentication schemes, and at least one processor connected to the first sensor, the second sensor, and the at least one input device, wherein the at least one processor determines a user authentication scheme from among the plurality of user authentication schemes based on a folding state of the electronic device according to the first folding state and the second folding state, and controls, among the at least one input device, an input device corresponding to the determined user authentication scheme so as to acquire the authentication information.
Abstract:
An electronic device according to an embodiment may include: a flexible display; at least one sensor; a processor; and a memory operatively coupled to the flexible display, the at least one sensor, and the processor. The memory may store instructions that, when executed, cause the processor to control the electronic device to: display at least one content in a visible area among display areas of the flexible display; identify an input regarding a first content of the at least one content based on the visible area of the flexible display being changed using the at least one sensor; and change a layout regarding the first content identified by the input in the changed visible area of the flexible display in response to identifying the input.
