Abstract: Disclosed a dual camera module. The dual camera module may include a housing; at least one image sensor disposed in the housing; a first lens barrel including at least one first lens and disposed in a first portion of the housing facing a first portion of the at least one image sensor; a second lens barrel including at least one second lens and disposed in a second portion of the housing facing a second portion of the at least one image sensor; a first coil unit comprising a coil disposed between the first lens barrel and the second lens barrel adjacent to the first lens barrel, and configured to adjust the first lens barrel; a second coil unit comprising a second coil disposed between the first lens barrel and the second lens barrel adjacent to the second lens barrel and configured to adjust the second lens barrel; and a magnet disposed between the first coil unit and the second coil unit and configured to provide magnetic force to each of the first and second coils.

Abstract: An electronic device is provided. The electronic device includes an image sensor for capturing an image; a barrel including a lens group arranged about a first axis perpendicular to the image sensor, a first housing fixed to the barrel; a second housing disposed under the first housing and coupled to the first housing; at least one magnetic substance disposed at one side of the first housing; and at least one coil disposed at one side of the second housing. When power is supplied to the at least one coil, electromagnetic force is generated between the at least one coil and the at least one magnetic substance. And if the electromagnetic force is generated, the first housing rotates clockwise or counterclockwise, and the barrel moves along the first axis.

Abstract: Disclosed are a camera module, an electronic device having the camera module, and a method for controlling the electronic device. The camera module includes an image sensor shooting an image, a body tube disposed above the image sensor, including a lens group and a housing including an opening formed at an upper end of the lens group and transmitting a light exiting through the opening and the lens group to the image sensor, a cover window positioned at an upper end of the opening of the body tube and including a transparent material, a transparent substrate positioned at a lower end of the cover window, and an opaque conductive material disposed in a space defined by coupling the cover window to the transparent substrate. An electrode device is formed on the transparent substrate to generate an electric field or a magnetic field when receiving a power, and when the electric field or the magnetic field is generated, the conductive material reacts with the electric field or the magnetic field in the space and moves toward a center of the transparent substrate to cover the opening of the body tube.
