摘要: An apparatus of a user equipment (UE) for supporting a higher data rate than a 4G communication system is provided. The apparatus includes a transceiver and a processor operatively coupled with the transceiver. The processor is configured to broadcast a request signal for positioning the UE, receive response signals corresponding to the request signal from a plurality of UEs, based on received signal timings of the response signals and timing advance (TA) values of the plurality of UEs, select one of at least one UE set which is classified based on a distance from the UE, select three UEs from the selected set based on the TA values such that a triangular area comprising the three UEs as vertices covers the UE, and generate position information of the UE based on distances between the three UEs and the UE.

According to an embodiment of the disclosure, in a wireless communication system, a remote terminal transmits a relay request message to a target relay terminal. The remote terminal performs an IP allocation procedure with the target relay terminal. The remote terminal performs relay communication with the target relay terminal on the basis of the IP allocation procedure. The IP allocation procedure is performed using an IP address which has been used in previous relay communication with a source relay terminal.

An operation method of a receiving device in a wireless system includes receiving a polar codeword generated by a polar code, generating a majority of decoding paths by decoding a bit value corresponding to one index that is selected among a majority of indexes indicating respective bits included in the polar codeword, determining a first candidate group that includes at least one decoding path among the majority of decoding paths, and determining, as a second candidate group, at least one decoding path passing a CRC check among the first candidate group. A number of the at least one decoding path included in the first candidate group is determined based on a result of a CRC check performed prior to the CRC check.
