Abstract:
The present disclosure relates to method and apparatus for controlling packet flow. In accordance with embodiments, the method includes aggregating a connection of at least one unlicensed frequency band and a connection of at least one licensed frequency band to form a hotspot backend connection for a hotspot access point providing an aggregated bandwidth spectrum. The method includes allocating the aggregated bandwidth spectrum to at least one tethered device connected with the hotspot access point through a tethered connection. The method includes receiving one or more packets from the at least one tethered device via a hotspot interface at the hotspot access point. The method includes transmitting the one or more packets to a transport layer aggregator.
Abstract:
The disclosure relates to a 5G or 6G communication system for supporting a higher data transmission rate. The present disclosure is for handling operation in standalone non-public network (SNPN). Embodiments herein disclose methods for handling an operation in a standalone non-public network (SNPN) by a UE. The method includes determining that a dialed number is an emergency number. Further, the method includes determining a current SNPN does not support an emergency service for the dialed number. Further, the method includes performing a deregistration procedure upon determining that the current SNPN does not support the emergency service for the dialed number. Further, the method includes selecting at least one of a cell and a public land mobile network (PLMN) that provides the emergency service to the UE after performing the deregistration procedure.
Abstract:
A method for controlling display of at least one item in an electronic device is provided. The method includes, while a display screen of the electronic device is in an off state, detecting a gesture performed on a portion of the display screen using a low power controller and controlling, by the low power controller, to display the one or more items on the display screen in response to the detecting of the gesture. The one or more items are displayed in part of the portion of the display screen of the electronic device.
Abstract:
The disclosure relates to a 5G or 6G communication system for supporting a higher data transmission rate. A method performed by a terminal in a wireless communication system is provided. Information on a stand-alone non-public network (SNPN) may be stored in at least one list of one or more forbidden SNPNs, while operating in an SNPN access operation mode. The SNPN access operation mode may be deactivated. The at least one list of one or more forbidden SNPNs may be maintained.
Abstract:
Embodiments herein provide a method for management of alternate-network slice in a multi-SIM UE. The method includes storing slice mapping information in a network slice database. The slice mapping information includes a mapping among each candidate network slice of a plurality of network slices associated with a plurality of SIMs of the MUSIM UE. The method includes determining whether candidate network slice associated with a first SIM of the plurality of SIMs is available. The method includes determining candidate network slice associated with a second SIM based on the stored slice mapping information in the network slice database when the candidate network slice associated with the first SIM is not available. The method includes sending a registration request message to a second network operator associated with the second SIM based on the determined candidate network slice associated with the second SIM.
Abstract:
The embodiments herein provide a method for managing a wireless connection in a device. The method includes detecting a plurality of WAPs. Further, the method includes determining a current state of the device. Further, the method includes determining a WAP from the plurality of WAPs based on the current state of the device and a priority data associated with each of the WAPs. Further, the method includes establishing the wireless connection with the WAP. Furthermore, the method includes resolving conflicts at the device based on the current state of the device.
