    Abstract: A dryer includes a rotating drum; a lifter positionable on an inner surface of the rotating drum; an energy harvester positionable inside the lifter so that while the energy harvester is positioned inside the lifter, the energy harvester generates electric power as the rotating drum rotates while the lifter is positioned on the inner surface of the rotating drum; a humidity sensor positionable inside the lifter so that while the humidity sensor is positioned inside the lifter, the humidity sensor receives the electric power generated by the energy harvester and senses humidity; a circuit board positionable inside the lifter and on which the humidity sensor is disposed; and an air passage formed through the lifter so as to allow air inside the rotating drum to pass through the lifter. The humidity sensor senses the humidity according to air passing through the air passage of the lifter.

    Abstract: The present disclosure provides a drying device and a method for controlling same.     Abstract: Provided is a dryer and a method of controlling the same that may determine whether drying is complete based on a temperature difference between a temperature of air discharged to a drum and a temperature of air flowing in from the drum.     Abstract: An oven has a sensor including a light-emitting portion for outputting light in a first wavelength band and light in a second wavelength band and a light-receiving portion for receiving light reflected from a cooking product in the oven. A processor to, when a user command for initiating cooking is input, output the light in the first wavelength band through the light-emitting portion. When the light output from the light-emitting portion is reflected from the cooking product and received by the light-receiving portion, the processor determines the size of the cooking product on the basis of the received light in the first wavelength band, and outputs the light in the second wavelength band through the light-emitting portion while the cooking product is being cooked on the basis of a cooking time determined according to the determined size of the cooking product.

    Abstract: A dryer is disclosed. The dryer includes a heat exchanger configured to remove moisture from air flowing and heat and discharge the moisture-removed air, a drum containing a material to be dried, a humidity sensor configured to detect a humidity of the air flowing from the drum, a fan configured to generate a flow of the air flowing along a flow path formed so that the air discharged from the heat exchanger flows to the heat exchanger via the drum and the humidity sensor, and a processor configured to determine a dried state of the material to be dried based on the humidity detected through the humidity sensor, and the humidity sensor is disposed at a position where a flow velocity of the air is equal to or higher than a predetermined velocity in the flow path formed between the drum and the heat exchanger.
