摘要: The disclosure relates to a communication method and system for converging a 5th-Generation (5G) communication system for supporting higher data rates beyond a 4th-Generation (4G) system with a technology for Internet of Things (IoT). The disclosure may be applied to intelligent services based on the 5G communication technology and the IoT-related technology, such as smart home, smart building, smart city, smart car, connected car, health care, digital education, smart retail, security and safety services. A system and a method to handle media transmission in the Mission Critical (MC) systems or MC Video system are provided. According to the system and the method, wastage of network resources can be avoided and other participants in the group can be given chance to transmit important data as maximum number of transmissions at a time in a group call are limited by network capacity. Accordingly, efficiency of the MC Video system can be improved.

摘要: A method for controlling media reception at an electronic device communicating with at least one external device includes establishing a communication session between the electronic device and the at least one external device via a server; in response to establishing the communication session, creating an instance of a first reception control state machine for controlling multiple media receptions in the communication session; receiving, from the server, a media transmission notification indicating that a media reception is available from an external device; receiving, from a user of the electronic device, an input for permitting the media reception; and in response to receiving the input, transmitting a media reception request requesting the media reception to the server and creating an instance of a second reception control state machine for controlling the media reception.

摘要: Embodiments herein disclose methods for handling a data driven model in a wireless communication network. The method includes identifying, by a first electronic device, a common data driven model capability between a capability information of one or more first data driven model and a capability information of one or more second data driven model. The one or more first data driven model is associated with the first electronic device and the one or more second data driven model is associated with the second electronic device. Further, the method includes performing, by the first electronic device, one of: storing the common data driven model capability in the first electronic device on identifying the common data driven model capability, and disabling a data driven model capability in the first electronic device on not identifying the common data driven model capability.

摘要: The present invention relates to a method for controlling the streaming of multimedia data in a network. The method comprising receiving, from a client device by a server, a request to control reception of at least one media stream from amongst a plurality of media streams as present in multimedia-data undergoing streaming by the client device, analysing the contents of the request to identify at least one of: a reception control message; the at least one media selected; and a type of control to be performed with respect to the at least one media, and responding the client device based on said analysis of the request by suspending or resuming the streaming of the at least one media stream from amongst the plurality of media streams in the multimedia data.

摘要: A method, a mission critical (MC) server, and a receiver for managing media communication in an MC system are provided. The method comprises receiving, from a sender, a request and a media stream for transmitting the media stream to one or more receivers. The request indicates a mode of transmission of the media stream. Further, the method comprises transmitting a notification message indicating a mode of reception identified based on the mode of transmission, to the one or more receivers for receiving the media stream from the sender. The mode of reception is one from among an emergency mode and a normal mode. Thereafter, the method comprises transmitting the media stream to the one or more receivers subsequent to transmission of the notification message, when the mode of reception is the emergency mode.

摘要: The present disclosure relates to a pre-5th-Generation (5G) or 5G communication system to be provided for supporting higher data rates Beyond 4th-Generation (4G) communication system such as long term evolution (LTE). A method for handling reception of a plurality of media streams in a mission critical (MC) system is provided. The method includes transmitting, by an MC server, a request to each of one or more receiving devices for receiving a plurality of media streams from a plurality of transmitting devices; receiving, by the MC server, a response from each one of the one or more receiving devices for receiving a number of media streams among the plurality of media streams transmitted by the one or more of the plurality of transmitting devices and updating the number of media streams to be received by each one of the one or more receiving devices as a counter value; identifying, by the MC server, the one or more receiving devices intended to receive the media streams from the one or more of the plurality of transmitting devices based on a synchronization source (SSRC) identifier associated with media streams of each of the one or more of the plurality of transmitting devices and the counter value; and transmitting, based on the SSRC identifier and the counter value, by the MC server, media streams from the one or more of the plurality of transmitting devices to the identified one or more receiving devices.
