Abstract:
An apparatus and a method for wirelessly charging are disclosed. An accessory device is detachably mounted on an electronic device. The accessory device includes a housing including a first face configured to oppose a face of the electronic device when the housing is mounted on the electronic device, a second face opposite to the first face, and a third face extending in a first direction from the first face so as to enclose at least a portion of a side face. The accessory device further includes a battery and at least one conductive pattern electrically connected to the battery. The accessory device can transmit power to the electronic device in a wireless manner and/or receive power from an external device in a wireless manner. Areas of the first face and the third face of the housing of the accessory device are formed of a non-conductive material.
Abstract:
A connector device connectable to an electronic device is provided. The connector device includes a body housing, a cap unit coupled to the body housing, and a cable electrically connected to the body housing and the cap unit. The cap unit is provided with a terminal protection module that senses a temperature due to heat generated when the body housing and the cable are electrically connected, and disconnects the electrical connection.
Abstract:
An electronic device includes: a connection terminal, a battery, a power regulator configured to supply power regulated using power supplied from the battery to an external electronic device connected through the connection terminal, a switch configured to open or connect a path between the battery and the external electronic device connected through the connection terminal, and a control circuit configured to detect a connection with the external electronic device through the connection terminal, acquire identification information from the external electronic device, when the identification information meets a first predetermined condition, provide power regulated using the power regulator to the external electronic device through the connection terminal in a state in which the switch is open, and when the identification information meets a second predetermined condition, provide power supplied from the battery to the external electronic device through the connection terminal in a state in which the switch is connected.
Abstract:
According to various embodiments, a charging electronic device may include: a communication module configured to receive one or more types of power; a power control module configured to charge or discharge a battery module with selected power among the one or more types of power; and a control module configured to change a charging condition or discharging condition of the power control module to correspond to the selected power among the one or more types of power to charge or discharge the battery module. Other embodiments are also possible.
