Abstract: Embodiments of an electronic device are disclosed. The electronic device may include a USB Type-C connector including at least one configuration channel (CC) pin and a processor operatively connected to the USB Type-C connector. The processor may be configured to: obtain first information of a connected audio output device by using a USB driver; transmit the first information and/or audio card information of the audio output device to an audio framework through a USB framework; control the audio framework to access an interface corresponding to the audio card information; and activate, when at least a portion of second information of the audio output device is obtained through the USB driver while accessing the interface, the interface by transmitting the at least a portion of the second information to the audio framework through the USB framework. Various additional embodiments in addition to the disclosed embodiments are possible.

Abstract: According to various embodiments, an electronic device comprises a battery, a wireless interface including a coil and configured to wirelessly transmit electric power from the battery via the coil, and at least one processor configured to: perform a wireless charging function of wirelessly transmitting electric power to an external device via the wireless interface, while neither the electronic device nor the external device is being supplied with electric power from an external power source via a wire, and based on identifying that the external device starts being supplied with electric power from an external power source via a wire while performing the wireless charging function, stop performing the wireless charging function of wirelessly transmitting electric power to the external device.

The at least one processor is provided to direct a plurality of charging intervals while charging the battery, each of the plurality of charging intervals having a target voltage, to alternately charge the battery in a first mode and in a second mode through the power management module, wherein a charging current flowing into the battery is uniformly maintained in the first mode and a voltage of the battery is uniformly maintained in the second mode, and to switch the first mode to the second mode when the voltage of the battery reaches the target voltage in the first mode.
