Abstract: A wireless access point location positioning method and terminal operation method for floor information update. A method includes a terminal acquiring absolute location information, and transmitting surrounding Access Point (AP) signal information of an absolute location, together with the absolute location information, to a location server. The location server includes receiving surrounding AP signal information of the absolute location and associated atmospheric pressure information thereof, together with the absolute location information, from a terminal, determining locations of APs based on the received absolute location information and the surrounding AP signal information of the absolute location, and updating a related AP location using the determined locations of the APs.
