    Abstract: A device and a method for detecting abnormality in cell coverage in a wireless communication system are provided. A base station includes a communication interface, a memory, and a processor operatively coupled to the communication interface and the memory. The processor is configured to obtain information related to an abnormal area from a network management device. The processor is configured to identify, in a case in which a user equipment (UE) handovers from another base station to the base station, whether the abnormal area is provided by the other base station based on the information related to the abnormal area. The processor is configured to detect, in a case in which the abnormal area is provided by the other base station, whether cell coverage of the base station is affected by the abnormal area provided by the other base station, based on information related to timing advance (TA) of the other base station.

    Abstract: The present invention relates to a method and an apparatus for real-time transmit power control of a base station and, more particularly, to a method and an apparatus for adjusting real-time transmit power of each cell for improving UE throughput in a multi-carrier environment. A method of controlling transmit power of each cell by a server of the present invention comprises the steps of: receiving setting information from a system management server; receiving channel state information and loading-related information from a base station controlling each cell; determining transmit power to be applied to each cell on the basis of the setting information, the channel state information, and the loading-related information; and transmitting the determined transmit power information to the base station controlling each cell.
