    Abstract: A display device includes an image controller that analyzes first image data to determine whether a same image is displayed for no less than a predetermined threshold time. The image controller sets a low grayscale region having grayscale values of no more than a predetermined threshold low grayscale value when the same image is displayed for no less than a threshold time. The image controller then receives second image data and transmits a control signal to allow a transistor hysteresis reset signal to be transmitted to pixels of the display in the low grayscale region. A data driver transmits the transistor hysteresis reset signal to the pixels in the low grayscale region based on the control signal.

    Abstract: A method for simulating sharpness of an image boundary including setting a boundary pattern including a boundary line between black and white, and a unit pattern including arrangement information of pixels; calculating simulation grayscale data for implementing the boundary pattern by using the unit pattern; and obtaining a sharpness index for the boundary line based on a contrast sensitivity function (CSF) and brightness data extracted from the simulation grayscale data.

    Abstract: A display panel inspection equipment includes: a panel support on which a display panel is supported; and an imaging device which faces the panel support, wherein the imaging device has an optical path and includes: a lens unit which is provided on a side of the optical path and causes light to enter the imaging device; a sensing unit which is provided on the other side of the optical path and includes a Bayer filter; and a light splitting unit which overlaps at least a part of the optical path, is provided between the lens unit and the sensing unit, and splits the light entering the imaging device into a plurality of beams.
