Abstract: A display device, includes: a base substrate; a display element layer on the base substrate, the display element layer including a driving electrode; an insulation layer on the display element layer, the insulation layer defining an active region and a peripheral region adjacent to the active region; an input sensing layer on the insulation layer, the input sensing layer including a sensing electrode that overlaps the active region and a compensation electrode that overlaps the peripheral region, the sensing electrode and the driving electrode forming a parasitic capacitor; and a detection control circuit electrically connected through an output node to the sensing electrode and the compensation electrode, wherein the detection control circuit is configured to control a capacitance of the parasitic capacitor using a first offset capacitor, the first offset capacitor being formed by the compensation electrode.

Abstract: A display apparatus includes a display panel, a touch sensing unit, and a touch driving circuit. The touch sensing unit includes a transmission touch line. The touch driving circuit provides a touch driving signal to the transmission touch line. The touch driving circuit may include a switch group and a control switch group. The switch group may include a plurality of switch devices, each of which has one end connected to the transmission touch line. The control switch group may be connected to the other end of at least a portion of the switch devices, include a plurality of control switch devices and a capacitor device, and receive a driving voltage and a ground voltage. The touch driving signal has N voltage levels, where N is a natural number of 3 or more.

Abstract: A display device includes a display panel, an input sensor disposed on the display panel and sensing an input during a sensing frame period, a display controller receiving a vertical synchronization signal and a horizontal synchronization signal and controlling driving of the display panel in response to the vertical synchronization signal and the horizontal synchronization signal, and a sensor controller providing a transmission signal including a plurality of sampling periods to the input sensor. The display controller provides frequency information of a display frame period to the sensor controller using at least one of the vertical synchronization signal and the horizontal synchronization signal, and the sensor controller controls the number of the sampling periods of the sensing frame period based on the frequency information.

The input sensing layer includes a plurality of sensing electrodes including a first sensing electrode and a second sensing electrode. A plurality of signal lines is electrically connected to the plurality of sensing electrodes. The plurality of signal lines includes a first signal line electrically connected to the first sensing electrode and a second signal line electrically connected to the second sensing electrode. The first signal line has a length different from a length of the second signal line. A distance between the first signal line and the electrode layer is different from a distance between the second signal line and the electrode layer.
