Abstract: A display apparatus includes a semiconductor layer disposed on a substrate and including a channel area, a source area and a drain area that are disposed at both sides of the channel area, and a first opening portion disposed adjacent to the source area or the drain area, and a first electrode overlapping and electrically connected to the source area or the drain area and including an edge adjacent to the first opening portion.
