Abstract: A display apparatus includes a semiconductor layer disposed on a substrate and including a channel area, a source area and a drain area that are disposed at both sides of the channel area, and a first opening portion disposed adjacent to the source area or the drain area, and a first electrode overlapping and electrically connected to the source area or the drain area and including an edge adjacent to the first opening portion. The edge of the first electrode is concave in a direction from the first opening portion toward the source area or the drain area.
