Abstract: A curved display device includes a display panel and members to curve the display panel in a first direction. The display panel includes a display substrate and a counter substrate. The display substrate comprises a pixel electrode disposed on a display area and in which first slits are formed, and the counter substrate comprises a common electrode facing the pixel electrode and in which second slits are formed. A first side area, a central area and a second side area are sequentially located in the first direction on the display area. When the display panel has a flat shape, a portion of the common electrode positioned between two adjacent second slits among the second slits overlaps the pixel electrode by an overlapping width. The length of the overlapping width in each of the first and second side areas is different from that of the overlapping width in the central area.

The second color filter in at least one pixel area is connected to an adjacent second color filter disposed in an adjacent pixel area by a bridge portion, and the bridge portion is formed of the same material as the second color filter and is disposed in the light blocking area.
