    Abstract: A voltage drop compensator for a display device and the display device including the same are disclosed. In one aspect, the voltage drop compensator includes a region divider, an expected current calculator, a conversion matrix generator, a representative voltage calculator, and a compensator. The region divider is configured to divide the display panel into a plurality of regions, and the display panel includes a plurality of power lines and a plurality of pixels configured to receive a power voltage via the power lines. The expected current calculator is configured to calculate an expected current to flow in each of the regions based on input data provided to each of the regions. The conversion matrix generator configured to generate a conversion matrix based on a line resistance of each of the power lines and convert the expected current to a representative voltage provided to the regions based on the conversion matrix.

    Abstract: A sensing circuit of a display device includes a sensing line initialization circuit which substantially simultaneously initializes a first sensing line and a second sensing line in a first sub-sensing period of a sensing period, a first line selection switch which couples the first sensing line to a sensing channel in the first sub-sensing period, a second line selection switch which couples the second sensing line to the sensing channel in a second sub-sensing period of the sensing period, and the sensing channel which samples a first sensing voltage of the first sensing line in a first sampling period of the first sub-sensing period, and samples a second sensing voltage of the second sensing line in a second sampling period of the second sub-sensing period. The second sensing line is not initialized during a period from the first sampling period to the second sampling period.

    Abstract: In a display device, each of pixels includes a light emitting element and a pixel circuit which is connected to the light emitting element at a first node and drives the light emitting element in response to a corresponding driving scan signal among driving scan signals during a display period. The pixel circuit is connected to a corresponding readout line among readout lines at a second node. The sensing circuit senses a potential of the first node through the corresponding readout line during a blank period, and each of frames includes the display period and the blank period. At least two driving scan signals among the driving scan signals respectively include a plurality of rewriting periods, each of which is activated during the blank period corresponding thereto, and the rewriting periods of the driving scan signals have different durations from each other.
