    Abstract: A display device includes a display panel configured to be driven in an initial mode or in a main mode; an input sensing part on the display panel and configured to be driven in a mutual sensing mode or in a self-sensing mode; a fingerprint sensing part below the display panel; and a control module configured to control operations of the display panel, the input sensing part, and the fingerprint sensing part. The display panel is between the fingerprint sensing part and the input sensing part. When the display panel is driven in the initial mode, the control module drives the input sensing part in the self-sensing mode and controls the fingerprint sensing part to detect a fingerprint touched on the input sensing part.

    Abstract: An organic light emitting display device includes: a display panel including a plurality of pixels; a power source configured to provide a high power voltage and a low power voltage to the pixels; a data driver configured to provide a data signal to the pixels through data lines; a scan driver configured to provide a scan signal to the pixels through scan lines; a timing controller configured to provide control signals that control the power source, the data driver, and the scan driver; and an image processor configured to receive an HDR image signal by every frame, calculate an on-pixel ratio (OPR) that represents a ratio of a number of the pixels that turn on based on the HDR image signal to the number of all pixels included in the display panel, and control a brightness of the pixels that turn on based on the on-pixel ratio.

    Abstract: A display device includes a display panel, a first timing controller, and a second timing controller. The display panel includes a first block and a second block adjacent to the first block, with a data line positioned between the first block and the second block. The first block includes a first column of pixels, and the second block includes a second column of pixels. The first and second columns of pixels are alternately connected to the data line. The first timing controller is configured to receive first image data corresponding to the first block. A second timing controller is configured to receive second image data corresponding to the second block. The first timing controller is configured to transfer at least part of the first mage data to the second timing controller.

    Abstract: A driving controller includes an image conversion circuit configured to convert an image signal to an image data signal including active data and blank data, a still image determination circuit configured to output a flag signal of an active level when the image signal is a still image, an operation mode determination circuit configured to output an operation mode signal indicating a low frequency mode when the flag signal is the active level, and to output an operation mode signal indicating an image transition mode when the flag signal is changed from the active level and an inactive level, and a blank voltage determination circuit configured to output a blank voltage signal corresponding to a first gray scale during the low frequency mode, and a blank voltage signal corresponding to a second gray scale during the transition mode, wherein the blank data corresponds to the blank voltage signal.
