Abstract: A display device includes a base layer including a display area, a non-display area, and a pad area. The display device further includes a circuit layer disposed on the base layer and including a plurality of insulating layers and a plurality of conductive layers. The display device additionally includes a light emitting element layer disposed on the circuit layer, and a thin film encapsulating layer disposed on the light emitting element layer. An edge of the thin film encapsulating layer disposed between the display area and the pad area includes a first edge and a second edge, and the first edge is disposed on an insulating layer among the plurality of insulating layers. The insulating layer includes an inorganic material.
