Abstract: A display device includes a display panel including a first active area and a second active area that is adjacent to the first active area and slides from the first active area in the first direction. An input unit is disposed adjacent to the display panel. A hinge has a folding axis in the first direction and is configured to couple the display panel with the input unit so that the display panel and the input unit is folded on the folding axis. A first motor gear is configured to provide power for a slide operation of the second active area of the display panel. The display panel includes a first slide for sliding the second active area of the display panel in the first direction. The first motor gear is disposed on one side of the hinge in the first direction to engage with the first slide.

Abstract: A display device includes: a display panel including a front surface and a rear surface, the rear side being opposite to the front side; a front stacked structure on the front surface including a front bonding member disposed on the front surface; and a rear stacked structure on the rear surface including a rear bonding member disposed on the rear surface. A loss tangent of the front bonding member has a value greater than a loss tangent of the rear bonding member, the loss tangent being represented by an equation: (loss tangent)=(loss modulus)/(storage modulus), wherein the loss modulus refers to energy lost by viscosity of a material, and the storage modulus refers to energy stored without loss by elasticity of the material.
