Abstract: A display device includes a display module and a window disposed on the display module. The display module includes a base layer, a light emitting element disposed on the base layer, an optical sensing element disposed on the base layer, a thin film encapsulation layer that covers the light emitting element and the optical sensing element, an insulating layer disposed on the thin film encapsulation layer, a light blocking pattern disposed on the insulating layer, and a color filter disposed on the insulating layer. The insulating layer includes a first area that overlaps the light emitting element and a second area that overlaps the optical sensing element, and the second area has a thickness greater than a thickness in the first area. The light blocking pattern includes a first opening that corresponds to the light emitting element and a second opening that corresponds to the optical sensing element.

Abstract: A display device includes: a display panel including a light emitting element and a photosensitive element; an input sensor comprising a sensing electrode on the display panel; and an anti-reflection layer on the input sensor. The anti-reflection layer includes: a light shielding pattern having a first opening corresponding to the light emitting element and a second opening corresponding to the photosensitive element. The sensing electrode includes a plurality of line portions, the plurality of line portions includes a first line portion overlapping the light shielding pattern and arranged between the first opening and the second opening on a plane. Abstract: A display device includes a display panel, an optical layer disposed on the display panel, a window disposed on the optical layer, and a light control layer. The light control layer is disposed between the display panel and the optical layer or between the optical layer and the window. The light control layer includes a plurality of transmission portions spaced apart from each other and a light blocking portion filled between the transmission portions. A thickness of each of the transmission portions and a width of each of the transmission portions in a cross-section are determined by a function of a refractive index of the transmission portions, and an exit angle of light emitted from the display panel and propagating through the light control layer.
