Abstract: A display device includes: a display panel curved in a first direction; a light source which emits a light; and a light guide plate which guides the light from the light source toward the display panel. The light guide plate includes an exit surface curved in the first direction corresponding to a shape of the display panel and an incidence surface, which is defined by a side surface of the light guide plate in the first direction, where the light from the light source is incident onto the incidence surface. The incidence surface is substantially parallel to a normal line at a central portion of the exit surface.

Abstract: A display device includes a light source; a light guide plate which includes a light incident surface; a circuit board which provides power to the light source and faces the light incident surface; a light guide plate alignment member between the circuit board and the light incident surface; and a frame to which the light guide plate alignment member is coupled. The light guide plate alignment member includes: a gap maintaining portion between the circuit board and the light incident surface; a securing portion with which the light guide plate alignment member is coupled to the frame, and a first alignment portion connecting the gap maintaining portion and the securing portion to each other with the circuit board therebetween, the first alignment portion contacting both an upper surface of the circuit board and an upper surface of the light guide plate.
