    Abstract: A position estimation apparatus, a tracker, a position estimation method, and a program which enable estimation of the position or orientation of each of plural trackers in a common coordinate system are provided. A point cloud storage section (80) stores a common point cloud with positions expressed using a common coordinate system. A position estimation section (86) estimates the position or orientation of a first tracker in the common coordinate system on the basis of the common point cloud and first feature point data. The position estimation section (86) estimates the position or orientation of a second tracker in the common coordinate system on the basis of the common point cloud and second feature point data.

    Abstract: Disclosed herein is an information processing device including an acquiring unit that acquires positional information of a flat surface present in a first space around a first user and positional information of a flat surface present in a second space around a second user, and a transformation parameter determining unit that determines a coordinate transformation parameter for transforming position coordinates of the first space and the second space into position coordinates in a virtual space such that a position of the flat surface present in the first space and a position of the flat surface present in the second space coincide with each other. A position of an object present in the first space and a position of another object present in the second space are transformed into positions in the virtual space according to the determined coordinate transformation parameter.

    Abstract: A skeleton model update apparatus, a skeleton model update method, and a program capable of making natural a motion of a skeleton model at a time of occurrence of a collision, compared with an existing technology are provided. An initial position determination section identifies a position to which one or each of a plurality of given nodes included in a skeleton model is to move. A posture update section updates a posture of the skeleton model by executing inverse kinematics computing on the basis of the position to which the one or each of the plurality of given nodes is to move. At a time of occurrence of a collision to one or a plurality of nodes included in the skeleton model, the posture update section updates the posture of the skeleton model by executing the inverse kinematics computing taking into account of an influence of the collision on the one or the plurality of nodes.

    Abstract: Disclosed herein is an image processing apparatus including: a signal processing unit configured to acquire data of a captured image; a correction unit configured to correct the captured image to an image suitable for display; a synthesis unit configured to synthesize an image for synthesis transmitted from an apparatus, which is not provided integrally with the image processing apparatus, with the captured image; and an image display controlling unit configured to control a display panel to display the synthesized image. The correction unit carries out, from among processes for correcting the captured image to the image suitable for display, part of the correction processes for the captured image before the synthesis by the synthesis unit and carries out remaining correction processes for the image after the synthesis.

    Abstract: A position estimation apparatus, a position estimation method, and a program that can estimate a position of a tracker with high accuracy while the power consumption is reduced is provided. An estimation result storage section (50) stores a result of estimation of a position of a tracker (12). An acceleration data acquisition section (52) repeatedly acquires acceleration data indicative of an acceleration of the tracker (12) from a sensor that detects an acceleration of the tracker (12). An estimation result updating section (56) updates the result of estimation on the basis of the result of estimation of a position of the tracker stored in the estimation result storage section (50) and the acquired latest acceleration data. A velocity information acquisition section (54) acquires information of the velocity of the tracker (12). The estimation result updating section (56) updates, when the velocity information is acquired by the velocity information acquisition section (54), the estimation result of a position of the tracker (12) stored in the estimation result storage section (50) on the basis of the velocity information and the acquired latest acceleration data.
