Abstract: A line-of-sight direction detection section 32 detects a direction of a line of sight of a user wearing a head-mounted display. Abstract: A controller device which is connected to an information processing apparatus and is to be worn on a user's hand. The controller device includes a device body to be gripped by the user, in which a sensor outputting a sensor output based on a change in a shape of a base part of the finger is disposed on the device body in a position so as to come into contact with the bases of at least some fingers of the user when the user grips the device body.
