Abstract:
A mode setting unit sets any one of operation modes in an operation mode group including at least a coaching mode and a learning mode. In the coaching mode, a control unit receives a posture instruction and controls a storage unit to store the posture instruction. In the learning mode, the control unit derives a control mode of a drive mechanism by learning while reflecting, in a posture of the robotic device, the posture instruction received in the coaching mode.

Abstract:
A processing apparatus includes a processing section acquiring a position in which a card is placed, and a rendering control section controlling projection of an image by a projection apparatus. On the basis of the position in which the card is placed, the rendering control section causes the projection apparatus to project the image associated with the card onto the card in a manner larger than the card. An image projecting method includes acquiring a position in which a card is placed, and on the basis of the position in which the card is placed, causing a projection apparatus to project an image associated with the card onto the card in a manner larger than the card.
Abstract:
A block system 1 includes a block 102 and a host terminal 10. The block 102, configured such that two or more blocks are connectable with each other, includes a power supply mechanism 110 for supplying power to the block 102, a communication mechanism 114 for establishing connection with the host terminal 10 to transmit and receive various signals, a storage mechanism 112 for storing identification information related with the block 102, a display mechanism 118 for emitting light and displaying an image under the control of the host terminal 10, and a control mechanism 116 for executing programmed processing in accordance with a signal from the host terminal 10.
Abstract:
Methods and apparatus provide for: acquiring a still image of a scene at a location; acquiring a moving image of at least one object at the scene taken at a different time of day, a different date, and/or a different season; selecting an image frame from among a plurality of image frames of the moving image as a still image frame; generating a three-dimensional (3D) image from the still image in a three-dimensional (3D) object space; superimposing the still image frame from the moving image onto the three-dimensional (3D) image; displaying the three-dimensional (3D) image on a display screen for a user; and generating the moving image superimposed on the three-dimensional (3D) image, starting at the selected image frame, in response to receiving a command from the user.

Abstract:
An acquisition unit acquires operation data for expressing real-time motions of a plurality of robotic devices. A virtual robot control unit uses the operation data regarding the plurality robotic devices to move a plurality of virtual robots corresponding to the plurality of robotic devices in the same virtual space. An image generating unit generates an image of the virtual space in which the plurality of virtual robots are in motion. The virtual robot control unit makes the plurality of virtual robots compete in a virtual sports venue.
Abstract:
There is provided a system including one or a plurality of information processing apparatuses that individually or cooperatively realize functions including a first image acquisition function of acquiring a first image of an object, an angle information acquisition function of acquiring angle information indicating an angle of the object in the first image, a dictionary data generation function of generating dictionary data based on the first image and the angle information, a second image acquisition function of acquiring a second image of the object different from the first image; and an angle estimation function of estimating an angle of the object in the second image based on the second image and the dictionary data.
Abstract:
A drive system includes an actuator including an electric motor, a microphone, and a sound generator emitting a sound in response to a signal derived from sound caught by the microphone. The microphone is attached to the actuator. This drive system makes it easy to establish an optimal positional relationship between the microphone and the noise source in the actuator, thereby properly reducing noise arising from the actuator.
Abstract:
A sheet body 30 includes first and second sheets 40 and 60 that transmit infrared radiation. A rear face of the first sheet 40 is opposed to a front face of the second sheet 60. An information code is marked on a front or rear face of the second sheet 60 by using an infrared absorbing material. The rear face of the first sheet 40 and the front face of the second sheet 60 are stuck together with a highly infrared transmitting adhesive. The front face of the first sheet 40 is marked with a pattern using an infrared transmitting material that is visible when visible radiation is irradiated onto the pattern.
