Abstract: There is provided an information processing apparatus capable of presenting an object that is easy to be in a fusion state where connection is natural regardless of a distance, an information processing method, and a recording medium. In the information processing apparatus, a left-eye image and a right-eye image are output to acquire position information of an object in a depth direction to be perceived by a user, and a luminance correction region to be subjected to luminance correction is set to at least one of a first display region that is included in a display region for the left-eye image and overlaps a display region for the right-eye image, or a second display region that is included in the display region for the right-eye image and overlaps the display region for the left-eye image on the basis of the position information. The present technology can be applied to, for example, a transmissive HMD.

Abstract: A display device includes a frame and an image display device. The image display device includes an image forming device, a light guide device, and a lens system. The image forming device includes light emitting elements 300 arranged in a two-dimensional matrix. Each of the light emitting elements 300 has a laminated structure 301 including at least one layer of light emitting laminates 310, 320, and 330 each including a first electrode, a second electrode, and a light emitting layer provided between the first electrode and the second electrode. The laminated structure 301 has a through hole 360 through which light from the light emitting layer is emitted toward the lens system. An antireflection layer 370 is formed in a portion of the laminated structure facing the lens system.

[Solution] An information processing apparatus including a display control unit that causes a display unit to display a virtual image in a three-dimensional space. The display control unit causes the display unit to display only one of a left-eye image and a right-eye image corresponding to the virtual image if it is determined that the virtual image is located outside of a predetermined range in a depth direction when viewed from a user of the display unit, and causes the display unit to display the left-eye image and the right-eye image if it is determined that the virtual image is located inside of the predetermined range.

Abstract: The present technology relates to an information processing apparatus and an information processing method enabling a user to visually recognize a surrounding environment promptly based on a sudden change in brightness. An information processing apparatus of the present technology includes an acquisition section that acquires environmental information which is information associated with an environment including an object present in a real space, and a display control section that exercises display control based on the environmental information with respect to form information representing a form of the object over a display section that displays predetermined information in a visually recognizable state while superimposing the predetermined information on the real space based on occurrence of a change in brightness of the real space higher than a threshold. The present technology is applicable to an HMD that displays information while superimposing the information on a scene in front of a user.

Abstract: A display apparatus includes: a frame 10 to be mounted on the head of a viewer; and an image display device 100 attached to the frame 10. The image display device 100 includes: an image forming device 111; and an optical device 120 that guides an image from the image forming device 111 to an eye of the viewer. The optical device 120 includes: a first deflecting unit 130 that deflects the image from the image forming device 111; and a second deflecting unit 140 that deflects the image deflected by the first deflecting unit 130, toward the eye 21 of the viewer. A light reflecting member 151 is further provided to face the image forming device 111, with the optical device 120 being interposed between the image forming device 111 and the light reflecting member 151. Light emitted from the image forming device 111 passes through the optical device 120, is reflected by the light reflecting member 151, reenters the optical device 120, and is deflected by the first deflecting unit 130.
