    Abstract: An image pickup apparatus includes: a dimming device configured to adjust light quantity of incident image pickup light; an image pickup device configured to obtain an image pickup signal based on image pickup light emitted from the dimming device; and a color correction processing section configured to perform color correction on the image pickup signal that is obtained by the image pickup device, based on information relating to light quantity of the image pickup light emitted from the dimming device. The color correction processing section performs the color correction to allow a color balance value of the image pickup signal to be substantially constant independent of the light quantity of the image pickup light emitted from the dimming device.

    Abstract: Provided is an information processing device that controls and presents sound information in an appropriate form to a user who acts in an environment on the basis of situation recognition including recognition of the environment and recognition of the actions of the user. The information processing device includes: a sensor that detects an object; an open ear style earpiece that is worn on an ear of a listener, and includes an acoustics generation unit, and a sound guide portion that transmits a sound generated by the acoustics generation unit into an earhole; and a processing unit that processes sound information of a sound source, the sound information being generated by the acoustics generation unit, the processing unit acquiring the sound information of the sound source corresponding to the object detected by the sensor, and a process of localizing a sound image of the acquired sound source while varying a position of the sound image in accordance with a position in a three-dimensional acoustic space, the position in the three-dimensional acoustic space corresponding to a position of the detected object.

    Abstract: [Object] To provide an acoustic output device capable of reproducing a more natural stereophonic sound giving a realistic sensation regardless of the influence of individual differences in the shapes of ears or an imperfection of the recording system or the reproducing system, through a combination of an air conduction sound and a bone conduction sound produced through bone conduction. [Solution] Provided is an acoustic output device including: an air conduction sound providing unit configured to provide an air conduction sound; and a bone conduction sound providing unit configured to provide a bone conduction sound. The bone conduction sound providing unit is positioned on a portion other than near an ear of a user when worn by the user. According to the an acoustic output device, it is possible to reproduce a stereophonic sound regardless of the influence of individual differences in the shapes of ears or an imperfection of the recording system or the reproducing system.
