Abstract: Disclosed are a method of preparing a sulfide solid electrolyte, a sulfide solid electrolyte prepared by the method, and an electrochemical cell comprising the sulfide solid electrolyte, the method comprising: preparing a precursor mixture by mixing raw materials with an organic compound, wherein the raw materials are for forming a sulfide solid electrolyte containing lithium, and the organic compound is non-reactive with lithium and is a non-ionic material having a hydrophobic region and a hydrophilic region; removing a solvent from the precursor mixture; and performing heat-treatment on the resultant product having the solvent removed therefrom.
