Abstract: An actuator according to an aspect of the present invention includes: a driving body including a plurality of conductive grains, a chamber configured to confine the plurality of conductive grains, and two or more electrodes disposed on a surface of the chamber; and a controller configured to obtain, through the two or more electrodes, a change in an electric signal, in response to a load applied to the chamber, and to adjust the load applied to the chamber based on the change in the electric signal.

Abstract: An apparatus for measuring bioelectrical impedance includes a current source configured to apply a constant current to an object through a first electrode and a second electrode; a measurement mode switcher configured to switch a measurement mode from a first measurement mode to a second measurement mode in response to a measurement mode switch signal; a voltmeter configured to obtain a voltage applied to a third electrode and a fourth electrode due to the constant current applied to the object; and a processor configured to obtain first impedance based on a first voltage obtained by the voltmeter immediately before start of a measurement mode switch, obtain second impedance based on a second voltage obtained by the voltmeter immediately after completion of the measurement mode switch, and obtain bioelectrical impedance of the object based on the first impedance and the second impedance.

Each of the light-emitting pixels may include a storage capacitor configured to store an nth light-emitting pixel signal and a memory capacitor configured to store an (n+1)th light-emitting pixel signal.

The member can detect a trace amount of a gas with high selectivity and ultra-high sensitivity by uniformly binding the alkali or alkaline earth metal and the metal nanoparticle catalyst through electrospinning and high-temperature heat treatment.
