    Abstract: A three-dimensional (3D) display device including: a display unit configured to display an image; a display driver configured to display, on the display unit, a plurality of first images based on a depth component of the image and a second image based on a planar component of the image; a first lens array including a plurality of first lens elements provided at a first pitch on a rear side of the display unit; a second lens array including a plurality of second lens elements provided at a second pitch wider than the first pitch of the plurality of first lens elements on a rear side of the first lens array; a plurality of light source assemblies respectively located on rear sides of the plurality of second lens elements and including a plurality of light sources; and a light source driver.

    Abstract: Provide are a composite optical sheet used for a liquid crystal display (LCD) device and a method of manufacturing the composite optical sheet. The LCD device includes: a liquid crystal panel; a surface light-emitting module; a base layer disposed between the liquid crystal panel and the surface light-emitting module; a diffusion pattern layer disposed on a surface of the base layer facing the surface light-emitting module and configured to diffuse light incident from the surface light-emitting module; a prism pattern layer disposed on a surface of the base layer facing the liquid crystal panel and including a plurality of first unit prisms; and a prism film adhered to the prism pattern layer and including a plurality of second unit prisms.

    Abstract: Provided is an image display device including an optical scanner configured to scan light emitted from a light source, a parallel light generator configured to generate the scanned light as parallel light, a prism configured to refract the parallel light, and a light direction changer including a plurality of points whereon the parallel light refracted by the prism is incident and configured to reflect or diffract the parallel light and change a traveling direction of the parallel light, wherein the prism is provided on a path of each light traveling from the optical scanner to the light direction changer to adjust an optical path difference of parallel light incident on each of the plurality of points of the light direction changer.

    Abstract: An optical member, a polarization member, and a display device are provided. The optical member includes a substrate, and a functional layer provided on the substrate, the functional layer including a high refractive layer and a low refractive layer, wherein the high refractive layer has a higher refractive index than that of the substrate and a diffraction grating structure, and the low refractive layer has a lower refractive index than that of the high refractive layer, wherein an interface between the substrate and the high refractive layer and an interface between the high refractive layer and the low refractive layer are in states in which components of the respective layers with the respective interfaces therebetween are compatible with each other.
