Abstract:
An image signal processor receives a Bayer image signal from an image sensor and converts the Bayer image signal into a normal image signal. The image signal processor includes a memory configured to store a table including reference brightness values and variation values according to the reference brightness values; a shot noise cancelation unit configured to calculate a reference brightness value of the Bayer image signal, select a variation value in the table of the memory according to the calculated reference brightness value, and perform shot noise cancelling on the Bayer image signal based on the selected variation value to generate a modified Bayer image signal; and an interpolation unit configured to generate the normal image signal by performing interpolation based on the modified Bayer image signal.
Abstract:
An image processing device includes; an image sensor including pixels arranged in a non-Bayer pattern and configured to generate non-Bayer pattern image data in response to electrical signals generated by the pixels, and an image signal processor configured to determine an indexing value indicating a color of a target pixel among the pixels and directly process the non-Bayer pattern image data in response to the indexing value.
Abstract:
A lens shading correction circuit includes an elliptical gain generation circuit configured to extract a position of a pixel and generate an elliptical gain value using elliptical gain parameters and the extracted position and a multiplier configured to output an output value by multiplying the elliptical gain value by a weight for the pixel. The lens shading correction circuit corrects the lens shading based on the first output value and a gain increment value.
Abstract:
An image signal processor includes a noise reduction circuit, a high dynamic range (HDR) circuit and post-processing circuit. The noise reduction circuit performs noise reduction operation on a plurality of exposure noise images each respectively corresponding to one of a plurality of brightness levels to generate a plurality of exposure clean images in a first operation mode and performs the noise reduction operation on a single noise image corresponding to one brightness level to generate a single clean image in a second operation mode. The HDR circuit merges the plurality of exposure clean images to generate an HDR image in the first operation mode. The post-processing circuit generates an output image by processing the HDR image or the single clean image.
