Abstract: A port multiplier for extending ports of a radio communication test instrument comprises an input for receiving at least one input signal, a power supply unit, a control logic, and at least one output for outputting a processed signal. The port multiplier is configured to split the at least one input signal into its different components such that a radio signal component of the input signal is forwarded to the at least one output. A power signal component of the input signal is forwarded to the power supply unit. Further, a control signal component of the input signal is forwarded to the control logic. Moreover, a radio communication test system for testing a device under test is described.

Abstract: An RF cable includes a connector housing having an RF signal output interface, a cable body having a first end portion connected to the connector housing and a second end portion comprising an RF signal input interface, an RF signal transmission path formed from the RF signal input interface through the cable body and the connector housing to the RF signal output interface, and a power measurement device integrated into the connector housing and configured to measure a power value of an RF signal transmitted through the RF signal transmission path. The RF cable further includes a measurement signal output interface, and a measurement signal transmission line connecting the power measurement device to the measurement signal output interface, the power measurement device being configured to output a measurement signal indicating the measured power value of the RF signal at the measurement signal output interface.

Abstract: A mobile radio testing device for protocol testing of a device under test is provided. The mobile radio testing device comprises a downlink path and an uplink path, wherein the uplink path comprises at least a first analysis mode and a second analysis mode. In this context, the mobile radio testing device includes a demodulation processing unit for analyzing signals from the device under test in the first analysis mode. In addition, the second analysis mode analyzes signals from the device under test without using the demodulation processing unit.
