Abstract: A method for performing an evasive maneuver using a control device. A lane model is created for a time interval on the basis of received measurement data from at least one sensor. An incident corridor, within which an evasive maneuver is possible within the time interval, is ascertained based on the received measurement data and/or the created lane model. An evasion path is planned within the ascertained incident corridor. The control commands for longitudinal guidance and/or transverse guidance of a vehicle for traveling along the evasion path are generated on receipt of a trigger incident within the time interval. A stable lane model for at least one time interval is saved at least temporarily. A stable lane model from a past time interval is used to ascertain the incident corridor if a lane model from a current time interval is unstable.

Abstract: A method for synchronizing a simulation of a simulation model on a computer with a real-time system, the simulation and the real-time system each having a computing clock having a matching macro increment. The method includes the following features: awaiting a message from the real-time system, measuring a receiving instant of the message by the simulation, awaiting at least one further message of the real-time system, measuring the receiving instant of the further message by the simulation; calculating an averaged receiving instant based on the receiving instants of the message and the at least one further message; determining a starting instant of the simulation based on the averaged receiving instant such that the results of a macro increment of the real-time system are available to the simulation at the start of a macro increment.

Abstract: A computer-implemented method for validating simulation data of a simulation model of a technical system. The method includes the following steps: providing a number n of simulation signals for a number N of QOIs (Quantities of Interest), of the simulation model and providing a number m of reference signals for a number N of QOIs of a reference corresponding to the QOIs of the simulation model; determining a particular metric for the N QOIs, determining an overall metric based on the N metrics, at least one metric of the N metrics being taken into consideration in weighted form in the overall metric using a respective weighting coefficient, and determining an overall difference between the n simulation signals and m reference signals, using the Wasserstein metric based on the overall metric.

Abstract: A method for predicting a driving maneuver in a driver assistance system of a motor vehicle. Based on dynamic data of the vehicle detected with the aid of sensors, a history of a driving maneuver, which is not yet completed, is recorded and, based on the history, a future course of the driving maneuver is predicted. Multiple hypotheses for potentially occurring driving maneuvers are represented by respective associated sets of parameters. A theoretical history of the driving maneuver is calculated based on the parameters for each hypothesis. The recorded history is compared to at least one of the theoretical histories. Based on a similarity degree, the hypothesis which describes the presently occurring driving maneuver with the highest probability is determined and output as the prediction result.
