    摘要: Device for fixing toner images developed by a powder development method, comprising a cylindrical heating roller having heating means incorporated therein and a nonadhesive layer of heatresistant material, such as a synthetic resin, applied over the surface thereof; and a heat resisting and insulating endless belt wrapped over a pair of spaced drive and driven rollers in such a manner that the belt contacts an extended part of the periphery of the rotating heating roller, so that when a recording medium bearing thereupon a toner image is conveyed by the belt and makes contact with the heated peripheral surface of the heating roller, the toner is heated and fused to the recording medium during passage over the entire extended part of the periphery. The heating roller may further include preheating means and fixing at high speed may be attained.

The non-overlapping portions are illuminated on the phosphor screen in a noticeable manner.

    摘要: An electrophotographic liquid-developing method comprising controlling the polarity of the toner by varying the mixing proportion of the dispersion media and/or the temperature of the developer solution. An electrostatic charge-substrate having an electrostatically charged latent image is immersed in the developer solution to convert such latent image into a visible image. Said developer solution comprises a toner consisting of pigment particles and at least one resin selected from the group consisting of alkyd resin, phenol resin and vinyl resin, and a carrier liquid in which said toner is dispersed. The carrier liquid comprises a mixture of two dispersion media having different affinities to said resin. Dispersion media having a larger affinity to the resin include halogenated hydrocarbons, aromatic hydrocarbons and petroleum hydrocarbons containing aromatic ingredients. Dispersion media having a smaller affinity to the resin include isoparaffinic and paraffinic hydrocarbons.

    摘要: Cascade development device for a dry process electrophotography includes a magnetic endless belt trained around a pair of rollers and a non-magnetic endless roller partially wrapped over the magnetic belt along its going pass and trained around a guide roller spaced apart from the upper one of the pair of rollers and adjacent to the upper end of an development of an electrophotographic recording medium in such a manner that the non-magnetic belt may be separate from the magnetic belt adjacent to the upper one of the pair of rollers. The developer is entrained and transported upon the non-magnetic belt and is freed from the magnetic field when the belts are separated so that the developer may be freely cascaded. Mixing means is provided for mixing the returned developer and guide roller oscillating means is also provided so as to uniformly cascade the developer.
