    Abstract: An audio device includes a first earbud and a second earbud, each of which is configured to establish respective first and second wireless links with an audio source, and receive, from the audio source, audio information over the respective first and second wireless links. The first earbud and the second earbud are further configured to communicate with one another over a third wireless link. At least one of the first earbud and the second earbud includes a measurement circuit configured to measure respective signal strengths of the first, second and third wireless links, a computation circuit configured to compute a difference in signal strengths of the first and second wireless links, and a determination circuit configured to determine an operating environment of the audio device based on the computed difference and further based on the signal strength of the third wireless link.

The apparatus may receive, via a radio frequency channel, a first data from a first human interface device at a first time slot of a frame. The apparatus may transmit the first data to a computing device.     Abstract: According to various embodiments, a gaming controller for a mobile device includes a first hardware gaming controller configured to be manipulated by a user's left thumb and/or fingers to generate a left controller input; and a second hardware gaming controller configured to be manipulated by a user's right thumb and/or fingers to generate a right controller input. The first hardware gaming controller is mechanically securable to a side portion of a housing, and the second hardware gaming controller is mechanically securable to an opposing side portion of the housing. One of the first hardware gaming controller and the second hardware gaming controller is a primary game controller configured to combine the left controller input and the right controller input into a single controller input representation for providing to the mobile device.

    Abstract: Disclosed are methods and devices for facilitating the seamless handover of Bluetooth communications of a Bluetooth accessory device from a first Bluetooth host to a second Bluetooth host. A first host identifier uniquely identifies the first Bluetooth host for its Bluetooth communications, and a second host identifier uniquely identifies the second Bluetooth host for its Bluetooth communications. The host identifiers are stored in the Bluetooth accessory device, and they are provided to an application on the mobile device that allows a user to select either the first or the second host as the selected host for the Bluetooth accessory device, without having to re-pair the host device to the accessory device. Because re-pairing is not necessary, the user can quickly and seamlessly switch the Bluetooth accessory's communications among multiple different host devices.

    Abstract: A method, a computer readable medium, and an apparatus for user input latency optimization are provided. The apparatus may be an HID coupled to a computing device wirelessly. The apparatus may sample user input. The apparatus may transmit the sampled user input to the computing device via a wireless frame. The sampling of the user input may occur before the starting time of the wireless frame. The time difference between the starting time of the sampling of the user input and the starting time of the wireless frame may be a first duration. The first duration may be the time taken to sample the user input at the apparatus. The wireless frame may be synchronized to a local transmission frame of the computing device.
