    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may identify that uplink data is available for transmission at the UE prior to a scheduling request occasion. The UE may skip transmission of a scheduling request during the scheduling request occasion based on identifying that an uplink grant is pending. The UE may transmit at least a portion of the uplink data to a base station using a resource allocation indicated by the uplink grant. Alternatively, the UE may transmit the scheduling request to the base station during a first scheduling request occasion. The UE may initiate a retransmission timer based on transmitting the scheduling request. Accordingly, the UE may skip retransmission of the scheduling request during a second scheduling request occasion that is subsequent to the first scheduling request occasion based on the retransmission timer.

    Abstract: Techniques for wireless communications are described. Control information used to preschedule communication resources may be received and communications may be performed based on the control information using a prescheduling technique. A scheduling type used for the control information may be determined using configuration information, an indication included in the control information, or both. A wireless device that is prescheduled communication resources may not start or not restart an inactivity timer based on the received control information. Also, a wireless device that is prescheduled communication resources may not start a retransmission timer based on the received control information. Additionally, a wireless device that is prescheduled communication resources may also refrain from transmitting a scheduling request based on a duration until a next instance of prescheduled communication resources is expected to occur.

    Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a wireless communication device may receive protocol data units (PDUs) in multiple TTIs (e.g., slots). The wireless communication device may generate, for each TTI of the multiple TTIs, a descriptor that identifies serial numbers (SNs) of PDUs that are received in the TTI. The wireless communication device may aggregate the descriptors for the multiple TTIs into an aggregated descriptor that identifies the SNs of the PDUs across the multiple TTIs. The wireless communication device may process the PDUs received in the multiple TTIs based at least in part on the aggregated descriptor. Numerous other aspects are described.
