Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to indicating beams for user equipment beam reporting. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may receive, from a base station, an indication of a plurality of candidate beams on which the base station is able to simultaneously transmit communications to the UE, and determine a first beam and a second beam from among the plurality of candidate beams, based at least in part on one or more measurements of the plurality of candidate beams. The UE may transmit an indication of the first beam and the second beam to the base station, and receive communications simultaneously on the first beam and the second beam. Numerous other aspects are provided.

Abstract: Various aspects relate to indicating bundling across carriers (e.g., across cells). In some aspects, bundling may involve sending information sent over multiple carriers (e.g., information sent from or to multiple cells) where the information sent over the carriers is combinable at a receiver. For example, a communication device may send the same set of information (e.g., transport blocks with the same content) via multiple carriers, send different redundancy versions of a set of information via different carriers, send information via different beams on different carriers, or send information using a combination of these techniques. The disclosure relates in some aspects to indicating whether bundling is applied across carriers. For example, downlink control information (DCI) that schedules transmissions on multiple carriers (e.g., multiple component carriers) may include an indication of whether bundling is applied across all or a subset of the scheduled carriers.

Abstract: Methods, computer programs products, and apparatuses for RS availability indication are provided. An example method at a UE may include receiving, from a base station, a PEI comprising a first availability indication for a first set of RS resources in one or more RS occasions. The example method may further include receiving, from the base station, a paging PDCCH comprising a second availability indication for a second set of RS resources in the one or more RS occasions. The example method may further include receiving, from the base station, at least one of the first set of RS resources or the second set of RS resources.

Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may identify a maximum permissible exposure (MPE) event associated with a beam, determine that a physical uplink control channel (PUCCH) resource for transmitting a scheduling request is unavailable based at least in part on the identification of the MPE event associated with the beam, and initiate, based at least in part on the determination that the PUCCH resource is unavailable, a physical random access channel (PRACH) procedure to transmit an uplink message. Numerous other aspects are provided.

Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for interference mitigation negotiation between network entities. An example method performed by a first network entity includes receiving, via different receive beams of the first network entity, a plurality of reference signals (RSs) from a second network entity associated with different transmit beams of the second network entity, transmitting, based on the plurality of RSs, downlink (DL) transmission recommendation information to the second network entity for a transmission window, and taking one or more actions related to receiving one or more uplink (UL) transmissions via one or more receive beams during the transmission window based, at least in part, on the DL transmission recommendation information.

Channel state reporting for full duplex transmissions

Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may receive, from a base station, a configuration message that is associated with a full duplex transmission mode. The configuration message includes at least one indicator of a resource for channel measurement, where the at least one indicator of the resource for channel measurement is associated with a plurality of resources for interference measurements that include at least one resource for self-interference measurement. Additionally, or alternatively, the configuration message includes at least one indicator of a format for a sub-band report, where the format indicates that the sub-band report is to include at least one of reference signal received power, signal-to-interference-and-noise ratio, or a combination thereof. The UE may transmit, to the base station, at least one report based at least in part on the configuration message. Numerous other aspects are described.

Transmit power prioritization in inter-band carrier aggregation

Abstract: Aspects of the disclosure relate to inter-band carrier aggregation. A user equipment (UE), for example, may obtain a measured configured maximum UE output power (PUMAX) and prioritize aspects of UE transmissions that contribute to PUMAX. Prioritization may be based, for example, on band priority, channel priority, service priority, or any combination thereof. The power levels related to the prioritized features may be changed by changing a power management maximum power reduction (P-MPR) of each feature associated with the transmission according to the prioritized order of the features. The UE may determine if an electromagnetic power density exposure level of the UE is at or below a predetermined maximum permissible exposure (MPE) level. The UE may continue to reduce the transmitter output power if the electromagnetic power density exposure level is greater than the predetermined MPE level. Other aspects, embodiments, and features are also claimed and described.
