    Abstract: An example of a method of operating a mobile device includes obtaining positioning signal timing information that indicates a plurality of times when the mobile device will receive positioning signals from one or more base stations associated with a first subscription to a first wireless network; obtaining tune-away information that indicates when a first receiver of the mobile device is scheduled to tune away from the first subscription to receive signals using a second subscription to a second wireless network; and implementing a collision-reduction measure in response to an expected number of collisions meeting a criterion. The expected number of collisions is a number of instances that positioning signals are expected not to be received by the mobile device based on the positioning signal timing information and the tune-away information.

    Abstract: A method of operating a user equipment (UE) that includes a first subscriber identification module (SIM) for communicating with a first wireless network and a second SIM for communicating with a second wireless network includes: receiving first assistance data and second assistance data determining to measure first positioning signals received from the first plurality of base stations of the first wireless network; selecting a measurement receiver of the UE to measure the first positioning signals; and measuring, using the measurement receiver and the first SIM, the first positioning signals. The first assistance data includes information about a first plurality of base stations of the first wireless network, and the second assistance data includes information about a second plurality of base stations of the second wireless network. The measurement receiver is selected from a shared receiver and a dedicated receiver of the UE.

    Abstract: A terminal position is determined with differential Global Navigation Satellite System (DGNSS) using GNSS signals from a plurality of satellite vehicles and differential corrections generated by a reference station for the GNSS signals and broadcast via a DGNSS server. The use of the differential corrections for positioning is interrupted when the determined terminal position does not improve with use of the differential corrections. The differential corrections may be interrupted for a period of time so that the terminal no longer receives the broadcast of the differential corrections or so that the differential corrections are not used for position estimation in order to reduce power consumption and reduce processing operations. The DGNSS capabilities of the terminal, such as the supported GNSS constellations and/or frequency bands, may be used by the DGNSS server to select differential corrections to broadcast to the terminal.
