For example, the apparatus may associate at least one biometric to a set of applications. The apparatus may detect a first interaction with the UE when the UE is in a locked mode. The apparatus may display a plurality of icons in a biometric area based on the first interaction. The apparatus may detect a second interaction with one of the plurality of icons displayed in the biometric area. The apparatus may determine if the at least one biometric is authenticated based on the second interaction. The apparatus may open an application associated with the one of the plurality of icons and unlocking the UE when the at least one biometric is authenticated.

摘要: Techniques are provided to initiate signal transmissions for possible opportunistic reception by a mobile device, and/or to initiate opportunistic reception of signal transmissions for use in mobile device position location estimation. For example, a mobile device may use assistance data to identify a first signal to be transmitted over a first frequency band and a second signal to be transmitted over a second frequency band during a specific period of time. At least a portion of the second frequency band may be outside of the first frequency band. The mobile device subsequently attempts to opportunistically receive at least the first signal and the second signal via a receiver tuned to a reception frequency band that encompasses at least the first frequency band and the second frequency band. The mobile device may then process the opportunistically received signals to obtain measurements corresponding to at least the first and second signals.

摘要: Embodiments are directed to a user equipment (UE) that performs MIMO communication on a plurality of Component Carriers (CCs) in accordance with a Carrier Aggregation (CA) scheme with each CC having an associated rank number that indicates a respective number of receive chains for the CC, selects at least one of the plurality of CCs for tuning away from the MIMO communication in order to perform an inter-frequency (IF) Positioning Reference Signal (PRS) measurement, selects, from among a plurality of receive chains allocated to the selected at least one CC, a subset of receive chains that includes less than all of the plurality of receive chains to be tuned away from the MIMO communication to perform the inter-frequency PRS measurement, and tunes the selected subset of receive chains of the selected at least one CC away from the MIMO communication to perform the inter-frequency PRS measurement.

摘要: An incoming autonomous or semi-autonomous vehicle may initiate/receive parking assist by providing a credit offer to parked vehicles to autonomously move or relocate so that the incoming vehicle has space to park. The incoming vehicle may send a park assist request to a parking control server or parked vehicles, including a credit offer to provide an incentive to parked vehicles to move. In response, a parking location for the incoming vehicle along with target vehicles near the parking location that may be moved may be provided to the incoming vehicle. The target vehicles may accept or reject a request to move, along with the credit offer, e.g., in a park assist negotiation with the incoming vehicle or the parking control server. Upon acceptance of the credit offer, one or more target vehicles may move or relocate to provide room for the incoming vehicle to park.

In an aspect, the touchscreen device receives a selection of an application or function based on a user touching a portion of a touchscreen display of the touchscreen device that includes an icon representing the application or function, collects biometric data of the user based on the user touching the portion of the touchscreen display, and determines whether the user is authorized to access the application or function based on the biometric data. In an aspect, the touchscreen device detects that a portion of the touchscreen display is unresponsive to user touch input, and in response to the detection, moves at least one icon displayed on the unresponsive portion of the touchscreen display to a portion of the touchscreen display that is responsive to user touch input.
