Abstract: An apparatus includes a memory for storing image data; and processing circuitry in communication with the memory. The processing circuitry is configured to generate a respective context vector for each pixel of the image data; generate a respective initial depth distribution for each pixel of the image data; and determine, for each pixel of the image data, a respective predicted depth peakiness factor based on the respective initial depth distribution, the respective predicted depth peakiness factor indicating a confidence of a depth for the pixel. The processing circuitry is also configured to determine a respective final depth distribution for each pixel based on the respective predicted depth peakiness factor and the respective initial depth distribution; and generate a bird's eye view (BEV) image using the respective final depth distribution for each pixel of the image data and the respective context vector for each pixel of the image data.

Abstract: A device for processing image data is disclosed. The device can obtain a radar point cloud and one or more frames of camera data. The device can determine depth estimates of one or more pixels of the one or more frames of camera data. The device can generate a pseudo lidar point cloud using the depth estimates of the one or more pixels of the one or more frames of camera data, wherein the pseudo lidar point cloud comprises a three-dimensional representation of at least one frame of the one or more frames of camera data. The device can determine one or more object bounding boxes based on the radar point cloud and the pseudo lidar point cloud.

Abstract: Techniques for autonomous uplink (AUL) transmissions are provided that allow for efficient use of shared radio frequency spectrum band resources. A user equipment (UE) may determine a duration of an AUL transmission and modify an uplink waveform or provide an indication to a base station of one or more channel resources that may be available for base station transmissions, in order to more fully utilize shared radio frequency spectrum band resources within a maximum channel occupancy time (MCOT). A base station may activate or deactivate AUL transmissions through downlink control information (DCI) transmitted to the UE. A UE and base station may exchange various other control information to provide relatively efficient autonomous uplink transmissions and use of the shared radio frequency spectrum band resources.

The wireless device may determine a beam-specific listen-before-talk (LBT) requirement for each beam configuration of the plurality of active beam configurations based at least in part on the determined interference status of each beam configuration. The wireless device may selectively enable an LBT procedure on a per-beam basis according to the determined beam-specific LBT requirement for each beam configuration.

Abstract: Techniques for channel selection and related operations in a shared spectrum environment are disclosed. In one example, a channel selector or the like may be used to select one of a number of available channels as an operating channel based on a comparison of cost functions for each of the available channels, with the cost functions being based on separate utility and penalty metrics. In another example, a channel scanner or the like may be used to trigger a channel scan in response to a channel quality metric indicating poor service for a threshold number or proportion of access terminals. In another example, an operating mode controller may be used to trigger a Time Division Multiplexing (TDM) mode on an operating channel in response to a utilization metric being above a threshold. The TDM mode may cycle operation between activated and deactivated periods in accordance with a TDM communication pattern.

Abstract: Systems and methods for Carrier Sense Adaptive Transmission (CSAT) and related operations in unlicensed spectrum are disclosed to reduce interference between co-existing Radio Access Technologies (RATs). The parameters for a given CSAT communication scheme may be adapted dynamically based on received signals from a transceiver for a native RAT to be protected and an identification of how that RAT is utilizing a shared resource such as an unlicensed band. Other operations such as Discontinuous Reception (DRX) may be aligned with a CSAT Time Division Multiplexed (TDM) communication pattern by way of a DRX broadcast/multicast message. Different TDM communication patterns may be staggered in time across different frequencies. Channel selection for a co-existing RAT may also be configured to afford further protection to native RATs by preferring operation on secondary channels as opposed to primary channels.

Abstract: Techniques for managing preamble transmission and processing on a shared communication medium are disclosed. An access point or an access terminal, for example, may generate a preamble for silencing communication on a communication medium with respect to an upcoming data transmission, configure the preamble to identify one or more target devices for the silencing, and transmit the preamble over the communication medium in advance of the data transmission. Conversely, the access point or the access terminal may receive a preamble (as a receiving device) over a communication medium, identify one or more target devices for silencing communication on the communication medium with respect to an upcoming data transmission based on the preamble, and selectively silence communication over the communication medium based on itself (as the receiving device) being among the one or more target devices.

Optionally, a placement of the at least one subframe within the frame of the downlink frequency band can correspond to a placement of at least one subframe that is designated for an uplink communication within a frame of a wireless network that is operating in accordance with the Long-Term Evolution Time-Division Duplex standard, or can correspond to a placement of at least one subframe that is designated for a transmission in accordance with the Multimedia Broadcast Multicast Service specification.

Abstract: Described herein are techniques for reducing efficient LTE operation in the unlicensed band. For example, the technique may involve establishing a connection with a primary component carrier on the licensed communication band or the unlicensed communication band. The technique may also involve determining at least one metric associated with a constraint on a transmissions channel of the unlicensed communication band. The technique may also involve sending the at least one metric to the primary component carrier. The technique may also involve receiving a message for one of switching on or switching off a secondary component carrier (SCC) for transmissions on the unlicensed communication band in response to sending the at least one metric.
