Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communication are described. A user equipment (UE) may apply an uplink muting maximum power reduction (UM-MPR) to uplink transmissions based on receiving an activation for uplink muting (e.g., activation of a muting pattern). The UE may apply the UM-MPR to an uplink transmission associated with a first muting pattern based on the first muting pattern being from a set of muting patterns, or from a subset of the set of muting patterns. In some examples, the UE may identify a value of the UM-MPR for the uplink transmission based on the first uplink muting pattern applied to the uplink transmission, a waveform type of the uplink transmission, a modulation scheme of the uplink transmission, a type of uplink resource allocation of the uplink transmission, or any combination thereof.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communication are described. A user equipment (UE) may communicate a signal using a first duplexing mode in accordance with a sub-band full-duplex (SBFD) capability of the UE. The UE may perform one or more measurements on the signal to obtain a channel impulse response (CIR) associated with communication of the signal. The UE may transmit a message that includes information indicative of an update pertaining to the SBFD capability of the UE. The update may be based on the channel impulse response and may identify a second duplexing mode for wireless communication by the UE.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communication are described. A user equipment (UE) may receive a control message indicating a wideband precoding configuration for wideband precoding of two or more downlink subbands for subband full-duplex (SBFD) communication. The UE may receive grants scheduling a physical downlink shared channel (PDSCH) via two or more downlink subbands within an SBFD resource (e.g., a slot). Accordingly, the UE may receive downlink data via the two or more downlink subbands. The UE may process the downlink data and transmit, via a feedback (e.g., uplink) resource, a feedback message acknowledging the downlink data, where a time period between the SBFD resource and the feedback resource is based on the wideband precoding configuration and the grant scheduling the PDSCH via the two or more downlink subbands.

In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may receive a sub-band full-duplex (SBFD) pattern indication that indicates an SBFD pattern for an SBFD resource. The UE may identify a time domain granularity and a frequency domain granularity for the SBFD resource based at least in part on the SBFD pattern indication. Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communication are described. A user equipment (UE) may receive a control message indicating a channel state information (CSI) reporting configuration for a subband full-duplex (SBFD) slot. The CSI reporting configuration may indicate that the UE is to report CSI for entire bandwidths of respective downlink subbands of the SBFD slot. That is, the CSI reporting configuration may configure the UE for per-downlink subband CSI reporting. The UE may receive CSI reference signals via the downlink subbands, and measure CSI for the reference signals. The UE may transmit, according to the CSI reporting configuration, a CSI report indicating the CSI for the downlink subbands. In some examples, the CSI may include some combination of channel quality indicators (CQIs) and precoding matrix indicators (PMIs).

Abstract: A transmitting device may generate a plurality of CBs. The plurality of CBs may be grouped into a plurality of CBGs. The transmitting device may interleave the plurality of CBs across the plurality of CBGs to construct a channel. The transmitting device may map the channel to one or more time-frequency resources associated with an allocation. The transmitting device may transmit, for a receiving device, the mapped channel using the one or more time-frequency resources. The receiving device may recover a plurality of CBs from the channel. The receiving device may deinterleave the plurality of CBs to recover a plurality of CBGs. The receiving device may decode the deinterleaved plurality of CBs based on the recovered plurality of CBGs.

Abstract: Apparatuses and methods for UCI and multi-CSI multiplexing on PUCCH for SBFD are described. Yet another apparatus is configured to receive a code rate configuration that indicates a maximum coding rate for uplink transmission of information via a PUCCH resource in FD slots, and to transmit a PUCCH in the PUCCH resource of a FD slot with a coding rate based on the maximum coding rate.
