    摘要: Control systems and methods are provided that utilize a device, which can be worn by a user, to enable the user to enter control commands for causing a controller to control one or more electronic devices in a local network, such as a Wi-Fi system. A local control system, according to one implementation, includes a smart ring configured to obtain movement information related to one or more movements of the smart ring while a user is wearing the smart ring. The local control system also includes a controller device configured to communicate with the smart ring using Bluetooth or Wi-Fi signals. Characteristics of the movement information can be translated in order to obtain one or more control commands. The controller device is configured to control one or more aspects of one or more electronic devices based on the one or more control commands.

    摘要: System and methods are provided for building intelligence around IoT devices that can prioritize an attack attack sphere, such that scanning and protection can be focused on risky spheres before others that may be less at risk. The attack spheres include specific device types, vendors, geographic locations, demographics, or organizations. Priority based vulnerability scanning and protection is utilized along with the concept of attack spheres to define priority zones which may be unique. Priority computation based on trend analysis and predictive analysis is used to determine the vulnerability of specific devices and groups of devices. This will significantly reduce the attack exposure and ensures the proactive damage control.

    摘要: Systems and methods are provided for determining whether dissimilar device identifiers in a network actually represent the same physical device. A method, according to one implementation, includes obtaining first and second sets of operational parameters related to first and second set of devices operating in a section of a network. The first and second sets of operational parameters include first and second sets of device identifiers representing the first and second sets of devices, respectively. The method also includes comparing the first set of device identifiers with the second set of device identifiers to find non-matching device identifiers. With respect to the non-matching device identifiers, the first and second sets of operational parameters are analyzed to determine if a device identifier of the first set of device identifiers and a device identifier of the second set of device identifiers likely represent the same device.

    摘要: Systems and methods for optimizing a cluster of Wi-Fi networks operating within a vicinity of each other are provided. In one implementation, a method includes detecting a cluster of Wi-Fi networks operating independently of each other, where the cluster is defined in that each Wi-Fi network includes a wireless transceiver configured to receive at least a minimum amount of signal power from one or more other wireless transceivers of one or more other Wi-Fi networks of the cluster. The method includes determining a plurality of Wi-Fi networks of the cluster that are enabled for cooperative optimization. Also, the method includes assigning a Wi-Fi channel selected from a plurality of available Wi-Fi channels to each of the wireless transceivers associated with the plurality of Wi-Fi networks enabled for cooperative optimization to reduce a total amount of potential interference in the cluster caused by the signal power received from independently-operated wireless transceivers.

    摘要: Systems and methods for Orthogonal Frequency-Division Multiple Access (OFDMA) optimized steering in Wi-Fi networks. The present disclosure contemplates operation in a multiple access point network utilizing OFDMA technology, e.g., IEEE 802.11ax, where clients are connected to the access points considering the effect on OFDMA operation depending on where the clients are connected. That is, the present disclosure considers OFDMA operation in the context of optimization in a distributed or multiple access point network. The optimization decision is based on capabilities of client devices and/or the access points, including OFDMA capability, MIMO capability, channel capability, etc. The optimization decision is used to select where client devices should connect, and optimization factors may include individual device throughput, joint load throughput (system capacity), fairness, etc.
