    Abstract: An improved modular server handle mechanism. The handle mechanism provides a translating handle mechanism that does not visibly function like a cam lever, and provides a carry handle solution when transporting the blade. In operation, to remove a blade server, a user pushes a button that releases the handle from a locked position. The handle is then pulled, and the cam levers undock the blade module from the chassis. When the cam motion is complete, the handle “locks out” in an open position to provide a carry handle.

    Abstract: A disk drive carrier includes a frame and a shuttle. The frame includes supports configured to be in physical communication with a disk drive, a first index tab to align the disk drive with a connector on a backplane of a server tray, and an arm configured to engage the disk drive with the connector in a horizontal orientation. The shuttle includes a base including a channel, edges extending from the base and forming an enclosure to receive the frame and the disk drive in a vertical orientation, a fastener connected to the server tray through the channel, and an alignment key configured to slide along the first index tab and to align the disk drive with the connector. The disk drive shuttle is configured to horizontally move along the server tray and to enable the disk drive to connect with the connector in the horizontal orientation.

    Abstract: The invention provides a mounting structure for engaging a vehicle with a steering column adjustable in raking movement. The mounting structure includes a compression bracket having first and second walls spaced from one another for frictionally engaging a rake bracket. A first aperture is formed in the first wall and a second aperture is formed in the second wall for receiving a rake bolt. The mounting structure also includes a first clamp cooperating with the compression bracket to define a third aperture extending along an axis to receive a steering column jacket. The first clamp is operable to reduce a size of the third aperture at a first position along the axis to selectively clamp the steering column jacket. The mounting structure also includes a second clamp cooperating with the compression bracket to define a fourth aperture centered on the axis to receive the steering column jacket.     Abstract: A method of forming a stitchless, adhesively bonded seam involves placing a first strip of adhesive (9) between the outside surface of first and second sheets of material (1, 2) along an edge (8) of the second sheet. At least a portion of a second strip of adhesive (13) is positioned against a first portion (17) of the inside surface (7) of the second sheet along the edge thereof. The second sheet of material is folded such that a second portion (18) of the inside surface overlies the second strip of adhesive. In some embodiments the first and second strips of adhesive are replaced by a single longitudinally folded strip of adhesive. Energy may be applied, via an ultrasonic seam bonding machine or other means, to activate the adhesive. Seams made according to the disclosed methods may be used for garments, sports articles, and other items made of fabric or other sheet material.
