    摘要: A scraping sealing device for cleaning the stems and the bristles of liquid or pasty cosmetic product applicators, comprising a substantially cylindrical body of flexible material, crossed by an axial hole, to be applied to the neck of a container; the body showing a terminal section having a substantially truncated conical layout, wherein the outer wall of the terminal section, which reaches the applicator, forms with the device axis an angle different from 90 degrees, the device wall tapering in the terminal section until null thickness at the the edge is encountered.The device makes an exhaustive cleaning of the stem when the latter is extracted from the bottle. It completely removes the exceeding contents present on the bristles and when the applicator is again inserted into the bottle, the device makes an efficacious hydraulic seal around the stem body, that avoids the product from drying.

    摘要: A multilayer silver halide color photographic element comprises a support having coated thereon a silver antihalation layer, an interlayer, at least two red-sensitive silver halide emulsion layers, at least two green-sensitive silver halide emulsion layers a yellow filter layer, and at least two blue-sensitive silver halide emulsion layers, wherein a silver halide emulsion layer or a nonsensitive layer adjacent thereto comprises a bleach accelerator releasing coupler of formulaA-(TIME).sub.n -S-X-Rwherein A represents a coupler residue releasing from (TIME).sub.n -S-X-R upon reaction with the oxidation product of a color developing agent; TIME represents a timing group releasing S-X-R with delay under developing conditions; n represents 0 or 1; X represents a divalent linking groups consisting of an alkylene group containing 1 to 8 carbon atoms; and R represents a group selected in the group consisting of a), b) and c): ##STR1## wherein R.sub.1 represents hydrogen or a monovalent chemical group, n represents 0 or 1, Z represents the atoms necessary to complete a 5- or 6-membered ring or a fused ring, and R.sub.2 and R.sub.4, equal or different, each represents hydrogen, an alkyl group, an aryl group, --SO.sub.2 R.sub.4 or --COR.sub.4, wherein R.sub.4 represents an alkyl group or an aryl group. The invention provides reduction in residual silver levels after processing, without deleteriously affecting sensitometric properties and color reproduction performance of the photographic element.

    摘要: It is desirable to protect color photographic dye images from ultraviolet radiation which tends to cause dyes to fade.It has been the practice in the art to add materials into or above the silver halide emulsions which will absorb ultraviolet radiation but allow transmission of visible radiation.One of the best classes of compounds are the 2-(2'-hydroxyphenyl)-benzotriazoles. These materials absorb ultraviolet radiation well, but tend to have poor solubility, crystallize out of the coating solution and emulsion, and diffuse through the photographic element.A novel class of substituted 2-(2'-hydroxyphenyl)-benzotriazoles has been found to reduce many of these problems.
