    Abstract: This correction method comprises: acquiring, by means of a processing circuit of a head-mounted display, projection angles via a photographic lens of dots of a correction test pattern corresponding to dots of a reference test pattern, the angle being calculated on the basis of the correction test pattern obtained by photographing the reference test pattern with the photographic lens through a correction lens that corrects the user's visual characteristics, the reference test pattern including one dot placed at a reference point and at least one dot placed on each of a plurality of straight lines extending in different directions from the reference point; and correcting, by means of the processing circuit, distortion in a virtual space image caused by the adjustment lens on the basis of projection angles corresponding to the dots of the reference test pattern.

    Abstract: A video display apparatus includes: a tone mapping processor that converts, by using dynamic metadata indicating a maximum luminance of a video in each of a plurality of time intervals included in a predetermined period, a luminance of the video in each time interval based on conversion characteristics according to the maximum luminance of the video in the time interval; and a display. The tone mapping processor switches between: a first operation of performing the tone mapping process by using first dynamic metadata that indicates the maximum luminance that is constant over the plurality of time intervals, the first dynamic metadata being generated by using static metadata that indicates a maximum luminance of the video in the predetermined period; and a second operation of performing the tone mapping process by using second dynamic metadata in which the maximum luminance varies over the plurality of time intervals.

    Abstract: An information processing apparatus includes: a speech obtainer which obtains speech of a user; a first controller which, when the first controller recognizes that the speech obtained by the speech obtainer is a first activation word, outputs a speech signal corresponding to the first activation word; and a second controller. In the first speech transmission process in which the speech signal of the speech obtained by speech obtainer is transmitted to the VPA cloud server, the first controller determines whether to output a speech signal corresponding to a second activation word to the second controller based on a predetermined priority level when the first controller recognizes that the speech obtained by the speech obtainer indicates the second activation word for causing the second controller to start a second speech transmission process.
